Hi Husain,
Direct experience: intention -> behavior. Reality: Brain reacting to causes/conditions -> intention thoughts arise -> More brain processing -> Organism acts in some way(either according to intention or not).

Are you trying to say that "intention" is a Direct Experience?

What tells you that there is a "brain" reacting to something called "causes/conditions?" Or that a "brain" is doing something called "processing?"

Look closely at all of that supposed sequence of events. Is any of that DE?

Thank you!

Hi,

My bad. I meant that there is only a thought labeled intention. I mentioned it in the beginning of the answer but forgot to write it in the diagram bit. In DE, it is only a thought labelled intention, that is if it even appears. Its not a common appearance. Other than that, there is no experience of intention.

Well its just another story that come from thoughts :). I wanted to give a DE explanation and a scientific/"reality" explanation, but forgot that is a story too (Very useful story though!).

No :).

Thank you

How does this story seem something called "useful?"

:)

Oh no, I predicted this would happen :(. hahaha. Its only useful, because I think it is. AND just to be clear I'm using I because this is the language we have, you can replace them with, thoughts labeled prediction appear, thoughts of "I think this is useful" appear. :) Hmmm but there's no I that thinks this is useful. :/

Hi,

Although belief in "I" as agent, controller, thinker, observer are gone (probably). Maybe there is still a belief in I as some sort of permanent stable identity with opinions, beliefs and qualities, i.e good, bad, smart, dumb. There is some "resistance", and bodily sensations around "important" views, stories of who I am, being "wrong", etc.. Much less than before, don't get me wrong, but these sensations are not present with thoughts or situations about thinker, controller, observer etc...

Much love,

Good morning, Husain,

I'm not completely sure whether to keep pointing so that you can get through these additional senses of self or whether it's appropriate to confirm and let you work that out in after-care. I've asked for a second opinion. I will let you know. In the meantime, keep looking and finding whether this "resistance," "importance," "being wrong," etc. is Actual Experience.

You may be doing this for some time in many areas as they arise.

Much love,
~ Stacy

Hi Husain,

You are confirmed, and with much delight. You have passed the gateless gate.

"what a delight Husain is! I loved reading about him laughing like a mad man for 3 days! I would let him know that the experience of yo-yoing is normal and yes, they are things that he can address in aftercare."

That was my opinion and I'm happy to have it confirmed. I am Stacy Ann Clark on Facebook if you wish to stay in touch.

Good work!
