Hello John,
Days are filled with coming and going matters - experienced as sensations, feelings, thoughts - all and everything enwrought with underlying Peace.
Thank you so very much for taking me here. :)
Sometimes physical sensations are strong and I like to rest a while, Silence leading into Stillness and Peace.
No more words are coming, what remains is a vast & deep gratitude for all you have done within the last weeks.
Thank you so very much.
Very Sincerely,
Angelika
How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Re: How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Hello Angelika,
That's excellent!
Now, just to clarify, do you sense that you are through? Does the 'self' or 'I' actually exist in any way, shape or form? Did it ever exist?
Please answer this as clearly as possible - but if things are still demanding at home, do take whatever time you need to have the space to do so.
With warm wishes,
John

Re: How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Hello John,
Thank you so very much for writing and listening. :)
Matters are still demanding at home. Additionally constitutional (climacteric) matters arose.
No matter what,
what comes and goes is Life Living Itself. If pain arises it is now pain without suffering. Do you understand? Yes?
You asked: - Now, just to clarify, do you sense that you are through?
Ja, I ´d say I am through.
It is not a sense. I´d call it an internal knowing.
No matter what arises old reaction patterns do not seem to work any longer, they fizzle out.
You asked: Does the 'self' or 'I' actually exist in any way, shape or form?
No self can be found.
Only what I call "NoThing" can be found, can be made contact with, and is recognized as a unique bodily sensation.
You asked: Did it - the self - ever exist?
I do not know.
I only know what is now and now there is no self only NoThing.
NoThing is always here and there and always experienced with the same initial bodily sensation followed often by a feeling of Peace, Saturation, Stillness and more.
Even with all arising difficult matters it is always possible to return to NoThing, since NoThing is always here and there. Sometimes it takes a bit longer though . . . and then this is what is experienced. Yes?
I am very grateful for what you have done for me. Thank you so very much indeed.
Will return tomorrow to write more.
Very Sincerely, Angelika

Re: How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Hello Angelika,
That looks and sounds good indeed! Yes, do write as much as you find you can on this. Afterwards, I'll send you the other 'completion' questions one by one - it will help us to get a clear sense that you are 'through', or whether any questions remain.
Best regards,
John

Re: How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Hello John,
Thank you very much for answering. :)
In the last days I have practiced the following; When I feel a pain - mostly in my muscle tissue - I focus on it and after a while I ask, "Where is the pain?"... as a response the "pain sensation" dissolves.
Feeling & experiencing the NoThing in my body, the internal knowing deepens.
No form is.
Writing this I see how it points to the Truth in two ways.
On the realm of form . . . . No form is = No form is real.
On the realm of "NoThing" . . . . NoForm is = NoThing is = NoThing is real.
. . .
Along with this understanding comes a change in responding to upcoming matters.
I see no more reason to make any deals with others, ally with someone in order to get what I want, or to manipulate someone into playing along with me.
Expressing what I want is followed now by a general acceptance of any outcome.
I experience old conflicts coming up, but responding in a very different way (than before) to these matters. Fearless, I´d say, the responses are, no longer attached to any expectation of any outcome.
This leads to living on a day to day basis, without knowing . . .
Also I noticed how others write to an image of me. I have done the same.
. . .
Will return later to write more.
Thank you so much for listening to me.
:)))))
Very Sincerely, Angelika

Re: How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Hello Angelika,
What you write about the experience / non-experience of pain is very good.
I need a bit more clarity about what you mean by the NoThing. You write:
There is the realm of appearances, the six senses. There is also awareness, which cannot be touched or perceived or in any way apprehended as an object. This could be referred to as ‘no-thing’ … which is quite close to how it literally is. It can be ‘known’ (by itself) but it couldn’t be a feeling or experience – these are appearances.
Does this correspond with what you actually see / know?
If you could respond to my questions above, we’ll then proceed to the other completion questions.
Keep going!
Kindly regarding,
John

This and the other comments you wrote towards the end are very suggestive that you have ‘passed through the (no-) gate :)“Expressing what I want is followed now by a general acceptance of any outcome.”

Re: How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Hello John,
Thank you very much for your kindness!
Today I feel a little better, although I am still very tired. I cancelled appointments and have slept when ever it was possible.
My daughter found a new school to attend from August 2013 on.
The shell & illusion of "my victim - role" is braking. Since I repressed most of the fear, anger and pain into my body and pain body (repressed emotions, physical aspect of illusionary self - see Eckhart Tolle) for the last 25 years ( at least), all this energy is unloading now.
This makes me feel like going through a heavy cold.
I drink a lot and experience and observe the coming and going of form.
Will return to answer the questions from your November, 7th message, when I feel better.
All of the best to you!
Thank you very,very much indeed!
Very Sincerely,
Angelika

Re: How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Hello John,
Thank you for your kind wishes. :)
Exhaustion has been relpaced by agitation and sadness, as the next layer of "past victim role" is peeling off.
"Shifting of the poles" comes to my mind as a characterization of the overall experience in the last few days.
It is best for me to have some more rest, peace and quiet.
Would this be alright for you?
Will return tomorrow to report further.
Thank you very much!

Re: How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Hello Angelika,
Yes, take whatever time you need ... there is a lot to assimilate and rest, peace and quiet is the best way to do it. When you're ready (no pressure - really!) do please respond to the points above from November 7th, 2012, 1:14 am.
Be well!

Re: How do I return to Pure Awareness?
Hello John,
May I go straight into answering your questions:
1) reg. The NOThing
So is it a feeling or experience? What exactly is it? Or what is it pointing to, what is it indicating?
What I call NOThing is,
- a "Thing", which is not a thing, because I cannot describe it with words. Words come out of NOThing, they are "born" out of NOThing.
- a realm that can be described as "beyond the world of form." Forms are born out of this realm.
- Being aware of NOThing is not a feeling.
Feelings are expressions out of the world of form (Duality).
Feelings are physical contactions or the body / energy system opening up.
- Being aware of NOThing is also perceived through the body. That what I perceive is always of the same quality. There are no opposite sensations.
The felt bodily sense of NOThing is always recognized.
- The following words point to how NOThing is perceived,
Peace, Saturation, All in One, Stillness, Blissfulness. . . .
. . . .
To be continued.
