Thanks! Now let’s see if this is a theory or practice?

What do you notice in normal everyday life, that looks different? What hasn’t changed? How is relationship with life itself going? Write a few paragraphs, then I can see what questions to ask you.
Love.

I take myself less seriously.
Thoughts are still the same, but
they dont hang around for long.
They still seem to stick, but the
glue isnt as strong. I'm not exactly
Teflon yet.

What hasn’t changed?
Thoughts!...still good/bad ones.
I still get " down ", but it doesnt
feel the same, it feels " lighter ".

How is relationship with life itself going?
It's going better than before. I dont
seem to identify personally with
every thought...although some.
Strange is that even some of the
good thoughts pass as do some
of the bad ones.

Great, thank you!
Yes, all thoughts pass, good, bad, neutral are judgements that also pass. There is no final thought and no everlasting emotion.

Glad to hear that the stickiness is less here. Can you tell me, that is the glue made off? What makes some thoughts more sticky than others and what do they stick to?

:)
Love.

Its made of thoughts, that are about
the thoughts.

What makes some thoughts more sticky than others and what do they stick to?
The ones that trigger strong emotions are "stickier" than others.
Cant say what they stick to but
ther ocupie more space, in my
head.

Good to notice.
And yet, what are they sticking to? Examine. Find a thought that has a strong emotional charge. Something that you feel in the body. See if that thought sticks to something?

See if that thought sticks to something?
The thought brings a feeling in my
gut, but the feeling is just a feeling
that reflects the emotion. Other
than that the thought sticks to nothing.

Good to notice that thought sticks to nothing. Then there is nothing to do to unstick them. :)

Is it clear for you that a separate self is an illusion?
Can a self come back?
Was it ever here?

Yes, it is clear

Can a self come back?
I hope not...but for now it is very
clear

Was it ever here?

Love...and much gratitude!

Interesting that you say you hope not..
it’s like saying I hope that next year santa will be real.

Can you expand on what you mean by “I hope not”?

Love.

Can you expand on what you mean by “I hope not”?
It all seems clear to me now. Had
an openning before..that ended.
The mind is a very strong machine.

I understand. Do you expect that difficulties no longer arise? Or do you see that difficulties are not happening because a separate self comes back? There is a difference.
Openings and contractions continue. My question is- what have they got to do with a separate self? Was there ever a separate self and can there ever be a separate self?

Thanks.
Love.

I expect that difficulties are a part
of life that happen for no one.

Or do you see that difficulties are not happening because a separate self comes back?
I dont understand the question.

There is and never was a seperate
self.

Sweet! Here they are :)

1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?

2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it ufully as you see it now.

3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.

4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?

5) Can you talk about decision, intention, free will, choice and control? What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.

6) Anything to add?

Please answer in full, when ready.

Much love.
