Yes we are already That, the source of everything:
I also find that your questions point to nothing-ness & this brings up more questions in reply.
OK :) What is not emptiness itself?

So much love,
Lubo

Hi Lubo,

I
What is not emptiness itself?
Not sure I have a reply to this specific question but your question did seem to prompt another question,

I was looking at the question what is outside emptiness?

I took sound/hearing as a sensation to investigate. When I listened or when sound occurs (as there is no listener) it occurs within the emptiness. So previously the emptiness was perceived as being within it is now perceived as more encompassing. It contains the sound & it contains the hearing of the sound.

Hi dear Tip,
It contains the sound & it contains the hearing of the sound.
If we speak about Emptiness as a thing, we can say "It." But what about when we are talking about ourselves...?

Where are you? What are you? When are you?

Where should you look to find yourself?

So much Love,
Lubo

When Am I?: There is no locatable, constant 'I". When am I the most I? Am I more I right now? Or more I in 15 minutes time? The authentic I means what? The fake I or the authentic I how are they different?

Where Am I? : in the head? If I am in the head then when I break a bone that is not in the head is it my bone broken?

Where should I look to find myself? shall I look in the head? Look in the foot? Look at the hand? Look in the mirror? If I am in the head I can not see the head with the eyes that I look with. If I am inside the head I can not see inside the head I can conjure images in the head. Are those images the 'I"? Does the 'I" describe itself as the images inside the head.

Or how does the "I" describe itself?

The I speaks of events from the past, the present & a planned future. Are those events from the past, the present & the future the 'I"? Is there an 'I" living those events? Or is there living but no 'I' undertaking the living? Living just continues.

Hi Tip,
You just found thoughts. Notice only thoughts can speak about the event and for past and feature.
Notice the freedom that there is no such thing as past and feature?

Love,
Lubo

Hi Lubo,

Past & future seem to be stories that are not experience but replaying a story of what was & a guess at what may be coming ahead.

The sensations being experienced now are present but constantly changing. The itch here changes & shifts to another part of the body. The attention shifts from one itch to another. It is impossible to grasp one moment with the attention. As soon as the attention rests on a sensation it changes. Or as soon as the attention is drawn to a sensation it has passed. It is like the attention is drawn to a sensation as it fades not as it arises.Attention follows sensation.

Love,
Lubo

Hi Lubo,

Witnesser of attention -

On the bus, tracking where the attention is drawn. Drawn towards eyes, flicker of eyes turned towards these eyes. Drawn towards the direction the bus is travelling. Drawn towards the road outside the bus as it stops. Drawn towards the doors as the doors open. Drawn towards the direction the body is travelling.

Does not seem to be a witnesser of attention that can be found right now.

Are the eyes aware that they are in the room?

Hi Lubo,

No the eyes themselves have no awareness. The eyes see only.

The eyes see only.
Are the eyes are aware that they are eyes?... and they see?

Hi Lubo

Eyes have no awareness. They are not aware that they see. Eyes do their job of visually interpreting visual data. Eyes are not an entity with conscious awareness about what they do.

Hi Tip,
Nice!
Dig here:
Eyes do their job of visually interpreting visual data
Are the eyes aware that they are separate from the visual field
Eyes have no awareness. They are not aware that they see
What is that that is aware of eyes and visual field?

What is that that is reporting here in the forum what is found?

So much Love,
Lubo

Hi Lubo,
Are the eyes aware that they are separate from the visual field
No the eyes provide an interface rather than being separate.
What is that that is aware of eyes and visual field?
There is seeing through the eyes or the eyes interface with the visual field & interpret it for the brain to process. There is nothing to be aware of this. It happens it can not be started or stopped. It occurs.
What is that that is reporting here in the forum what is found?

Words are used to describe what is found. The words describe what attention is resting on. Nothing is reporting.

Did you see the brain? That grey, fatty ball?

Look around: Is the brain someone who can actually experience the visual field?

What experiences the visual field?
