"I" does not exist, emptiness instead of "I"what does it comprise of?
How do you know this?"I" does not exist, emptiness instead of "I"
I know this from the absence of thoughts, emptiness inside the head, silence inside the body.I know this from the absence of thoughts, emptiness inside the head, silence inside the body.
There is no any I and never been. All that happens is identification, illusion, like in a movie, in which we experience together with the characters.1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
I-illusion arises due to the existence of thoughts, memory, experience.2) Share in your own words what the illusion of separate self is and how it shows up in experience. Also, through your inquiry, what is different now?
Seeing is like looking from zero gravity, from emptiness and, at the same time, experiencing gratitude and peace while being inside events. I count thoughts, watch the body in motion - it's funny.3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
it was a dream that I was aware of, I realized that I was dreaming. When I woke up, I continued to experience the same sensations that came in a dream - it was bliss, heartfelt attention, a state of dissolution.4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
None of this exists. There are thoughts and sensations. There is no one who controls and forces - there is no one to find fault with. There are thoughts that "think" that they are deciding something.5) Can you talk about decision, intention, free will, choice and control? What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
Can a thought think? Can a thought think that it thinks? What is that thinks?“There are thoughts that "think" that they are deciding something.”
This is a metaphor. Because thoughts exist and thoughts make labels. Can a thought think? Can a thought think that it thinks? What is that thinks?
Control and freewill do not exist. Nothing can happen otherwise than it is.Can you please describe an example from your experience about how control and your freewill have changed.
InterestingThis is a metaphor. Because thoughts exist and thoughts make labels.
