Hi Eugen,
Ok great.
Ill post the thread for my fellow guides. And they will confirm or will have more questions for you. Afterwards you get final confirmation questions, and than you will be added to the relevant facebook groups with can help you further with the process.
This may take a day.

Re: the way out
Sounds good Barry,
By the way, my computer hard drive crashed yesterday :) You would wonder if this is some sort of acknowledgment from the universe of crashing the gateless gate :) I find it very funny :)
Cheers,
Eugen

Re: the way out
Hi Eugen,
Just some extra questions for a other guide
Is there an actual 'me/I/ person/entity/thinker' or are there only thoughts ABOUT a 'me/I/ person/entity/thinker'?
And if it is just a thought...then can you find a 'me/I/ person/entity/think' who is authoring these thoughts or are thoughts just appearing but are appearing to no 'me/I/ person/entity/thinker'?
What is the self, and can you give a big No the self doesn't exist?
What made you switch?
Say something about desision, free will, and choice, do they exist?
Did the self ever existed?
How do you feel now?

Re: the way out
Hi Barry,
That's a lot of questions :) I'll be as honest as I can. I keep using the "I" word for convenience. It's one of its major functions :) to let us exchange thoughts :)
There is NO self but the old/strong belief that I am awareness seems to be popping from time to time in my head only to realize it's false.
The most important aspect is to actually discover for yourself what direct experience truly is. This requires complete honesty with your self because the mind always interferes and adds up layers on top of it.
I was obsessed with the question of why do my thoughts make sense to me and who is that "me" that they are making sense to. By carefully looking into this, it turned up to be an illusion. Thoughts make sense because making sense is just a story/construct that we educated into our mind from the moment we start speaking. We believe the sentences we say or think are full of meaning but we forget that the first 4-5 years of our lives we were barely speaking words and those words were just imitations of what our parents or people around us said to us. The same goes for our learned behaviors.
I have to admit that I don't see trough this illusion all the time. This story will probably take a bit of time to unravel but I'm OK living with this paradox.
I use to think/expect radical changes in perspective, feeling one with everything around me, mystical experiences...etc... Those stories are not very useful because they make it harder to be honest with yourself. Probably the longer your "spiritual" journey is the more stories and expectations you accumulate. Life itself is THE ultimate spiritual experience full of wonderful things for us to experience.

There is no thinker or me. Thoughts just happen. Is there an actual 'me/I/ person/entity/thinker' or are there only thoughts ABOUT a 'me/I/ person/entity/thinker'?
I cannot look behind the thoughts and although it seems they are happening to a me, that isn't true. Even the act of looking at the thoughts generates a commentary or explanation of the actual happening. I find it absolutely marvelous how this illusion is perfectly maintained. And if it is just a thought...then can you find a 'me/I/ person/entity/think' who is authoring these thoughts or are thoughts just appearing but are appearing to no 'me/I/ person/entity/thinker'?
The self is a powerful thought construct which is hammered in our heads from the very moment we come into this word. With time (which actually doesn't exist in DE) we build layers and layers of beliefs or thoughts constructs which are anchored in this self idea. The thought of a self is the one that gives us the illusion of separation from others and the objects we see around us. It constantly assumes identity with our body or the mind but when we try to locate it, it eludes us all the time. What is the self, and can you give a big No the self doesn't exist?
There is NO self but the old/strong belief that I am awareness seems to be popping from time to time in my head only to realize it's false.
There were a series of triggers or happenings that made no sense if there was a self. For example being completely involved in an activity without having thoughts. Like situations when you do something on automatic and than your sort of wake up (thoughts happen) and ask yourself what was I intending to do.What made you switch?

This is part of the perfect illusion. There is the illusion of free choice but by observing DE I don't believe there is such thing. If all our DE just happens, how can there be free will ? :) This illusion is a byproduct of a self which thinks it is in control of life situations. So in the end free will is just a story.Say something about decision, free will, and choice, do they exist?
I have to admit that I don't see trough this illusion all the time. This story will probably take a bit of time to unravel but I'm OK living with this paradox.
No.Did the self ever existed?
Not much changed. As I said before, there is this subtle shift in perspective where it seems I'm the illusion and at the same time I can see through it's cracks. Can't really explain it.How do you feel now?
