Re: Looking for a guide

Hi Tao,

I am better now. got caught up in a personal family concern and did not realize for one whole day that all these are TFS...just got lucky that thought/insight did come back that all these are stories and I am caught up in "me" again so strongly..

had a good flow of enquiry last week but somehow I have lost it..i think writing daily here is made mandatory for that purpose only so that the flow does not get lost..

I intent to write daily even if there nothing material to share.

thanks for your help. I appreciate your support

Jiten

Hi Jiten,

No problem, do what you feel is best. You know where the line of enquiry is. Have you ever tried flow writing, on paper? You can just write and write without thinking about it and just let it all out, it can be fantastic at clearing through the debris and returning to SEEing. I'm here as and when you need me. Daily posting is a good idea to keep up the enquiry.

Hi Tao,

will try flow writing as well. Actually I am planning for a break ( long leave) from my job..so very excited about it and waiting for the leave to start..there is a surge of excitement..can't wait for leave to start......

In this change there is so much of "me" feeling..as if finally some change is happening. Something to look forward to...sense of happiness after a long time........in this state, enquiry into "me" is not naturally happening...do u really need misery or stress in life to be willing to SEE?? or it is possible to have that spark of enquiry even while things are going your way..one thing is clear though...my quest of SEEING was/is more driven by desire to end misery rather than as a pursuit of truth..is that a handicap? but I do wish to see through in a happy way..

thats all for today

Hi Jiten,

It can be either way but it is certainly not a handicap. Misery will keep reappearing so long as the separate self idea is believed and invested in, so to speak. Perhaps it will take a spark of suffering to ignite the fire of looking. Either way it is a good idea to keep up enquiry if you can, no state will last, no state is 'you'. That said, things are unfolding in their own way. The break from your job sounds like just what is needed right now.

Hi Tao,

I am hoping that I will get my long leave from next week so pretty excited about it and obviously stress and fear is less... So kind of enjoying these stress free days in which once in a while I remember inquiry or seeing...but mostly I am enjoying this stress free state...

I thought of telling you that I should take a break of 10 days from enquiry but little worried that I might lose time and miss the flow of enquiry..

please bear with me for few days..would definitely want to come back to enquiry..seeing the truth of experience is important to me and I don't want to get fooled by mind again.

thanks

Hi Jiten,

Apologies for not replying sooner, I've been taking time away from the forum. How are you doing? Do you still wish for guidance?

Yes Tao,

I am probably more ready now. I have joined back office. Read ACIM and "I am that" books during my leave.

Thanks

Hi Jiten,

Great so let's get back to enquiry.

What does the 'me' seem to be comprised of?

Hi Tao,

sorry for not getting back early. i will reply everyday going forward.

currently me is strongly experienced in two occasions.

1) Pending office work --- When i have some pending office work and also there is resistance in doing it (not liking it basically), then the attention is constantly get pulled into i need to do this....

2) Getting bored -- these days my social life is zero. i have read enough spiritual stuff that i don't real anymore compulsively. So when i am free, i feel extremely restless...urge to do something is always there...to mostly go out and enjoy..

Not sure if i answered directly to your question. In both these cases "me" is experienced strongly but indirectly.

Thanks
