Check out that transition between daydreaming and DE in more detail, and share what you find.
Brilliant. There is no transition. There just is. There just is daydreaming...there just is DE. As soon as the moment moves so does connectiom with what was before.

Trying to connect just obscures the truth of what just is

Couldn't have put it better myself :)

Where do you stand now on the issue of control and choice, based on your recent experience?

Well the issue seems absurd now. It's an over-elaboration. Part of the problem of the illusion of the separate self, which is just as absurd.

Thanks Deezer,

I'm going to present you with the set of questions I posed before. (Yes I know, so terribly boring!) But I would like you to look at them from where you are now (metaphorically speaking of course).

1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?

2) Explain in detail what the illusion of a separate self is, and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.

3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.

4) How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it.

5) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you see?

6) Do you decide, intend, choose, control events in Life? Do you make anything happen? Give examples from your experience.

7) Anything to add?

And remember those immortal words of the great guru Roy Walker - 'just say what you see' :-)

Hi Paulo,

I had time on the plane. Traveling is conducive to DE. :-)

1. No, there is no separate self. Never was. Not in any way.

2. I am finding it very hard to grasp. The illusion of separate self is a disconnection with what really is. It's a bit of a joke really. I am struggling trying to recreate it in order to answer the question.

3. It feels real. Before there was a subtle thinking process getting in the way of direct experience. It was analyzing the direct experience and therefore it wasn't direct experience.

4. It would be very hard to explain if not impossible. The problem being that they would only form a concept of what you are saying to them, which is another layer of confusion. It may even do more harm than good as they may well mistake that concept for DE itself!

I think I'll leave it to the experts!

5. The question asking me if self was just another experience. Some how this outfoxed the subtle holding onto a separate self and gave it no place to hide.

6. No. Everything is unfolding. It is what is. There is no separation between what is unfolding and what I am. The idea of control is part of the joke of there being a separate self. There is nothing to control nor any need to. Wow.

7. Thank you Paulo, and everyone involved in this wonderful guiding. What a ride!
