It doesn't change anything, experience just happens, only without a delusional belief that it's happening to someone.

:)
Will thoughts continue to happen?
What is belief?

Thoughts will still happen.
Belief is a conceptual labelling of the way something is.

Who does the labelling?

It just happens.

When I look at direct experience, the sense of self starts to thin. Thinking and sensing just happen. Still, I'm not yet seeing through the idea of self.

An area of doubt:
If experience just happens, not to a self, why am I only seeing through this pair of eyes?
Why is 'my' experience of seeing not occurring through the eyes of every living being in the universe, if there isn't a separate 'me' that experiences seeing?
What makes 'my' seeing separate from 'your' seeing if there is no 'me' or 'you'?
Same with the other senses and thinking.

Are they your eyes? They are eyes. Are they your eyes?
If those eyes have a unique experience, does that still belong to you?

What do you think is seeing through the illusion?
Please look at your expectations acting out! All your questions surround the idea that you haven't seen something or the sense of something thinning when there is nothing to see or thin!

They're just eyes, not mine, and have a unique experience without it being mine.
I don't know what would see through the illusion.
Saying the illusory idea of self thins is the same as saying you see through it, in either case it's only a false idea of self being lost. I'm aware that there's nothing real to see or lose through this.
If you want me to use the exact same terminology as you then I will, but it's being picky over nothing. Not everyone refers to this topic using identical terminology as you or the rest of LU, does that mean only people at LU are correct about it even if they're actually saying the same thing?
