I've been continuing to look but don't seem to make any progress beyond my above post.
I do have a question though. I was thinking of sending this by PM but decided not to. If I finally come to the realization that there is no "me", then, considering that life kind of sucks, why not just send the bit of awareness popping up temporarily in this body back to the universal sea of consciousness (or whatever it is) where it came from and let it go on to pop up somewhere else? What's the point?

Well, let's clarify what the process is... You are NOT expected to go off on your own, look at it for a while, then suddenly "get it" and come back here to report.I've been continuing to look but don't seem to make any progress beyond my above post.
You are expected to post here every day. You don't have to come up with any special insight or answers. Just answer the questions. Don't even think about them too much. Just read, see what comes up, and write it down. Let's try to do much more back-and-forth between us... I will steer you and guide you to where you need to be. You just need to be open and willing to commit to the dialogue.
There are a lot of issues with this sentence... Who is it that can come to a realization that there is no "me"? Does life suck? Assuming it were possible to merge awareness into a universal sea of consciousness, who is it that would be choosing to do this?If I finally come to the realization that there is no "me", then, considering that life kind of sucks, why not just send the bit of awareness popping up temporarily in this body back to the universal sea of consciousness (or whatever it is) where it came from and let it go on to pop up somewhere else? What's the point?
Let's just chill and focus on a gentle, guided dialogue. I can ask you question, you just answer quickly, answer right away as soon as you read this post. Don't think too much, just write what comes out. Then I will ask another question to help you along, etc...
Let's start--
What is this "me" that you are referring to? What is it made of? Where is it? How do you know it is real?

Nick,
It has been awhile but let me know if you are still around and interested in continuing. I am.
Or I guess "I" am not actually. But you know what I mean.
