Elad: here goes...
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
ANSWER: There is no separate "me." Never was.
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
ANSWER: What seems to be true is that the illusory separate self forms around age 2, via conditioning; parents, teachers, community and culture. My recollection of sitting on the back porch after I found my father lying unconscious on the bathroom floor... this "me" identity was formed, or strengthened, with belief structures put in place to protect the "me", who [didn't exist] but seemed like she could be shamed, and felt fear and insecurity.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before we started this dialogue? Please report from the past couple of days.
ANSWER: I saw this before beginning with LU.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over; made you look?
ANSWER: I can't recall a moment in time when I felt pushed over the edge. Awakening for this body-mind looks like a series of drips, or mini self-realizations that operated on the ego, sort of like compound interest. Mooji's Invitation [2 or 3 years ago], took things a little deeper, more grounded, was kind a gentle "ah, ha."
5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control.
ANSWER: Never a decider, no free will, no choice or control. Only a mind that wants to take credit. A thought mechanism at work, jumping in after the fact, saying, "i made that choice."
6) What makes things happen? How does it work?
ANSWER: Life lifes. This Is. No way for a body-mind to really know what "makes things happen."
7) What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
ANSWER: Nothing, really. And yet the body-mind can learn from its experiences. "I" can look [within]. What is seen, felt, experienced can be integrated into the system such that different "choices" occur. It occurred ["out of the blue"] to me to ask my client what her preferred learning style was. She said visual. This system noted that and created a short video for her to summarize something from our previous session.
8) Anything to add? Thank you for this forum. Elad has been wonderful to work with.
