What is that which taken for the persona?

I know that it's just thoughts that tell about thoughts. When I look or look for Marc, there is no Marc. But if I don't pay attention to it, the identification with Marc becomes intense and strong again. Then I think again about my body, my pain. It's like watching a movie enthusiastically and intensely and you identify with the actor. You think you're the actor until the commercial comes and you realize it's just a movie. The point is, the advertising hasn't come for me yet.

Let's focus in the moment when you are looking and there is no persona.

2. With closed eyes - there is empty dark hall
3. with eyes open - there is movie/show described with the word "5 senses" + light/knowing of that
Dark/empty hall appear as humans on the screen
Thoughts are coming with the story that these humans are someone.
Thoughts are like gossip persona they are addicted to problems and scandals, don't go there.
Notice that every movement of the body is a movement of the darkness and appear in the movie as body is moving.
Notice that you are nothing which appear in the movie as this and as every human here?
And this is happening right now, in this very moment, life stream.
Now check at your Direct Experience - what these words point to?
And write what is found.

No, I didn't notice it. But now that you say it, it's true, it's always from the I perspective.

In direct experience, I am not part of the film. I'm a viewer of the film, but it's always clear that it's a film and I can only watch it if I want, but I can't influence or change anything. Whatever the point, it's just a film.

First of all, I would like to thank you for your support and your patience.

This is the film of life, it is always there. There is no appearance. This film runs itself and I can't really change anything.

I'm at the point where I'm 100 percent sure that there is no self. But I'm trying to understand or resolve it with what I can, which of course isn't possible. So the question for me is how can I change perception so that I can see it. Should I continue to use direct perception and be patient or is there something else I can do?

I would be very grateful for any new tips and inspiration. It's tiring to look for the gateless gate.

Just to clarify, when you say persona, you mean the me, the ego and not the person as such, right? The movement of the body occurs automatically rather than "consciously". When I spoke I had to look first, but it's the same as when I move. The mind controls. Being observes. I am being and not the mind.

Yes, thoughts are thoughts, they come and go, but there is no thinker named Marc. Only thoughts want you to know that there is a thinker.

Good question. Controlling thoughts where the mind's attention goes. although I'm not sure. But thoughts influence emotions.

:-) Certainly not, but hands and legs can be controlled by thoughts.

No, thoughts are not real, so from that point of view, something that is not real cannot have something real. This is a conditioning that you get as a small child and of course believe and consider it to be the truth. But why is this belief and identification so strong? The mind obviously cannot recognize and resolve the illusion of self. This is what I try to do all the time and this is what I do wrong. You're right it's just a story, but how do I know it's just a story without using my mind?

becouse whole life your parents and teachers are trying to fix you and to improve you. Now you can see the idea that there is something wrong in you? And shame and guilt and fear are coming and experience of separation seems real.

This is what I try to do all the time and this is what I do wrong.
