Okay, 2 things:

1. Show me in Direct Experience how a thought moves anything.

2. Yes, watch this for fear or expectations:

A thought sets the intention to move and then movement happens. In my DE this is all that I can observe

2. Yes, watch this for fear or expectations:

Thanks yes I've watched this video quite a few times the last time fear came up and you recommended it to me. Same thing for expectations?

Where is any Direct Experience here? What, exactly, are you observing?

Which DE is this "intention?"

Same thing for expectations?
Yes. I've never suggested that before, but there is no reason it won't help.

DE if intention is thought arising.
Then there is a feeling/sensation of the hand movement

Intention is not thought arising.
Do you know what it actually is?
Then there is a feeling/sensation of the hand movement
That's the result, but is it a part of intention?

Again, how does a thought move anything? Push? Pull? How?

Intention is not thought arising.
Do you know what it actually is?

Can you See an intention? (not its effects, the intention itself)

Can you Hear an intention (outside your head, where others can hear it)?

Can you Touch an intention?

Can you smell an intention?

Can you Taste an Intention?

Yes, you can notice that an intention arises, but what did we say about content, which has no existence outsideof your mind?

LOOK with your eyes, just like Colored Socks.

Its hard to pin down but let me try here
Can you See an intention? (not its effects, the intention itself)
No
Can you Hear an intention (outside your head, where others can hear it)?
No
Can you Touch an intention?
Can you smell an intention?
Can you Taste an Intention?
Yes, you can notice that an intention arises, but what did we say about content, which has no existence outsideof your mind?
Disregarding the content of it, the last category being thought.. right?

Hi Robin,

Good. Yes, Intention is a thought. The content of which is made up.

So, can a thought push, pull, or move anything? Or is it just another thought saying it does?

In my direct experience a though arises and movement happens . Anything else including whether the thought pulled or pushed anything is not knowable in my DE

Can you say 100% that there is no separate "self?"

Excellent. Below are the traditional "final" questions. Your answers will be shared with lithe guides, who may have questions.

1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?

2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.

3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.

4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?

5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.

Describe intention & give examples from experience.

Describe free will & give examples from experience.

Describe choice & give examples from experience.

Describe control & give examples from experience.

What makes things happen? How does it work?

What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.

6) Anything to add?

1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever
?
No ther isn’t and never was and never will be
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
In my DE separate self is just a story spun together by thoughts . It starts when I’m caught up in thoughts and not paying attention to the rest of experience. When I focus back on the DE and look for it, it’s not to be found.

3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
I think it’s helpful to know that fluctuations in this recognition can last sometime. After having glimpsed this abcense of a me before this dialog, I wanted to see if there’s any sort of stability to be found. This dialog helped me gain a bit more confidence that I wasn’t looking at it wrong. There was also some resistance/fear there that I was able to look deeper into.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
There wasn’t a one moment but more a growing confidence over the last few days through this dialog and continuing to practice.

5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.
Describe intention & give examples from experience.
It’s a thought that comes up unbidden. Say typing this sentence, there is an automatic intention to type out the right letters. Nothing that I can control
Describe free will & give examples from experience.
Free will is also a thought .. much like the illusion of a me inside.thibgs are just happening if I’m being honest and there is no lt really any will free or not
