Are you a character in a story?

Is Tom Hanks Woody? This is funny. Woody is a mesmerising character, lots of cool traits, funny, fearless, vulnerable. Tom Hanks is admired, self deprecating, likeable, warm. Neither are real although convincingly appearing as real in this stunning nothing. But it's fun to talk about it and to see the unreal in what apoears to be real.

Hope I didn't go too leftfield there Merlin with my little story. Lol.

What is your relasionship to thoughts and emotions these days?

No problem

Well thoughts and emotions are constantly arising, appearing, happening - stories can be attached or not. Sometimes this is seen, sometimes it isn't. There isn't a relationship.

But its all here and now isnt it?

It's everything isn't it? It includes questions about here and now - thoughts that arise as a seeming response. There is a here and now to the character I suppose - otherwise it's seen as timeless/eternal/infinite - beatiful words that do a second rate job of explaining or describing.

And what is the character made of?

The character is made of an asolute belief in it's thoughts, opinions, desires, preferences, memories and agendas. All contained within a body that must be encouraged at all costs to perform to its optimum so that all of the above can be constantly maintained - like a cog in a machine or juggling balls in the air so that happiness can be found somewhere if the character works hard enough.

Are Thoughts contained?

Thoughts appear and disappear - adding a story can make thoughts seem like they are joined together. Basically paying attention to thoughts if a character seems present or believing in them can make them seem to linger. There is no containment.

And who pays attension to thoughts or adds to them?

The story of me pays attention to thoughts and adds to them.

And who or what is that?
