Morning Ramses
I am just saying that that way is reflexive.
What is permanent in your direct experience? Anything?

Have you seen through the illusion of self?
Has seeking ceased?
Do you have anymore questions? Anything you want to look at?

Morning Sarah,
What is permanent in your direct experience? Anything?
I don’t know what is permanent in my direct experience.
Have you seen through the illusion of self?
Yes, I have seen through that illusion.
Has seeking ceased?
No, because the re-programming of the brain has not yet happened. The habit of saying my body and my mind and my possessions are still automatic and pre-dominant. That means the illusory Self is still the capitain.
Do you have anymore questions? Anything you want to look at?
Can you please help with looking at impermanence, separateness, non-attachment, self-importance and freedom from desire.

Au revoir,
Ramses

Says who? How do you know this? Is this an expectation?

What makes it (the "I") so permanent to you? Give me a list.

If you can find a park, sit there for a bit, and watch how everything moves and wiggles, how the wind blows, how the clouds move. If you can’t find a park, a view through a window is fine too. People and animals move. Light changes. Everything is one movement, including your body, breath, and thoughts. Watch the totality, and notice there is no “noticer” separate from the noticing. And no controller either. Just relax and see what's there.
Will look at the others on the list too. Ok.

Hey Sarah

I react to the events happening in the same manner as before with the same emotional responses.

I don’t mean in the above the permanence of the “I”. I meant that I can’t see the impermanence, separateness, non-attachement to/of things.

There is here two kinds of view points, one that sees a natural flow of things and another that sees the separatness of this things and the independece of this things. I suspect that our goal here is to expand the first view, or is this assumption wrong?

Morning
I react to the events happening in the same manner as before with the same emotional responses.
And I’m asking who said you shouldn’t be. Where have you read or been told that this stops, or that it should stop? I’m asking is this an expectation of yours to have it stop? If you have seen through the illusion of self, to whom or what does it matter what behaviours happen?
I don’t mean in the above the permanence of the “I”. I meant that I can’t see the impermanence, separateness, non-attachement to/of things.
I know. So what is permanent about yourself, that you can’t see the impermanence? Where are you staying the same? Body? Thoughts? Feelings? Emotions? Sensations? Which of these stays the same? You said behaviours stay the same, but do they? Can you predict your next thought and action?

Where do you feel separate? Is that body?

Does this means that the questioning and doubting and wishing things to be different is just the self playing the old game?

I see now that all things are subject to a permanent change process. Behaviours seems to stay the same, but they don’t. No I can’t predict anything.
Where do you feel separate? Is that body?
Things seem to be separate, but they aren’t. Only thought says so.

What is then cause and effect?
And what about time?

You tell me. What is it that IS DIRECTLY experienced?
Where have you read or been told that this stops, or that it should stop? I’m asking is this an expectation of yours to have it stop?

And what about that which notices? Does that change?
What is then cause and effect? And what about time?
Well how are they experienced directly?

Just thoughts are in this case directly experienced. The hope that this could stops after seeing through the illusion of self still happen. Why does the judgment of the behaviours still happen?
And what about that which notices? Does that change?
There is no thing that notices, just noticing. And this noticing only appear if there is something to be noticed, otherwise not.
Well how are they experienced directly?
I don’t know how to experience cause and effect directly.

Hi Ramses

What is judgement? Another thought? So that’s a thought criticising another thought? That’s funny! A song on the radio singing about another song on the radio that it doesn’t want playing! Lol. A wave that criticises another wave in the ocean!
How often do you notice this? Try smiling or having a little giggle after you notice this!
Why shouldn’t it still happen? What makes it wrong?
There is no thing that notifies, just noticing.
Did you get curious about this noticing? Did you explore it? Check if it is ever not there?
I don’t know how to experience cause and effect directly.
What about time? Do you directly experience that?

I sometimes notice that. I will smile if I notice this again 😊
Just a thought says that it is wrong and shouldn’t still happen.
Did you get curious about this noticing? Did you explore it? Check if it is ever not there?
If I explore it, it is ever there. But when I am not aware it is not there.
What about time? Do you directly experience that?
Experiences change, nothing is permanent. that also applies to the time.

Hi Ramses
Can you please help with looking at impermanence, separateness, non-attachment, self-importance and freedom from desire.
Ok so we looked at impermanence. Any questions with that?
How about seperation?

What are you attached to? How? What makes up that attachment? Pick attachment apart. What is it made up of?

Hi Sarah
Ok so we looked at impermanence. Any questions with that?
Impermanence is now clear without any distraction.
How about seperation?
Separation exist only while thought says so. There is no-sepration.

What are you attached to?
I am again attached to seeking the true. I want to know more about it. The attachment is a concept and the true also is a concept. I know all this. But why is there no acceptance yet of this fact?

Explore this want. Sit with it.
What wants to know.
What wants it now because........?

Sit with this want. What happens once it is sat with? Anything?

This want is a thought that has happened and if it is sat with it is seen for what is just a thought.
Thoughts will still come after seeing through the illusion of the self, because thought is also what happen. We can’t make them disappear. It is a natural experience.

Ramses
