Glad to see things are clearer now.

For the sake of completion here is a final set of questions :

1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever? There is no separate self, it is an idea that exists in awareness. It never existed.

2) Explain in detail what the illusion of Separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
It's a set of beliefs that has been collected over many years, starting with the interpretation of external events. It is a set of concepts that are based on the notion of dichotomies/division. It is the belief of taking fixed positions to create this idea of being a unique self.

3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days. A bit calmer and it feels more like being a witness. It feels like causality is flowing through awareness and actions are accepted as a part of a sea of causality. The present moment is all that exists and is an accumulation of every moment preceeding this. Now can be nothing other than what is.

4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look? I can't remember. But upon much investigation, it is clear that a self cannot be found.

5) Describe decision, intention, free Will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
Awarness is responsible for nothing and everything. The mentioned concepts are born from nothingness, but have no influence over action. There is no executive agent and these things happen as a consequence of a previous set of events/experiences and current events. We are the sea of causality. Existence happens. Free will is illusory, there is no way to track the inception moment of any choice, meaning it comes from nothingness and is not a component that any executive agent can control. Actions happen. Choices are a label we place upon this happenings to give the illusion of control. Intention emerges from nothingness based on external variables and the internal response to these variables. This internal response comes from nothingness, implying there is no intention or control and no source of this can be found.

6) Anything to add? Nothing.

Regards

Daniel

Great Jason,

Although from your answers, I can tell things are clearer, still they invited this follow up question :

You often refer to awareness and nothingness. These words are very popular in the non-dual world today. But tell me:
What is your direct experience of awareness? of nothingness?

Please ponder this carefully, your answer is important here, it could mean a shift of an 'I/me self' to an 'awareness self' or a 'nothingness self' and this would mean trading 4 quarters for 1 dollar.

Regards

Daniel

What is your direct experience of awareness? of nothingness?
It is the transparency of perception, seeing the world without the filter of a self. The nothingness is the awareness, it is seeing without the belief of a seer. Awarness, nothingness, consciousness, perception, seeing are all words that describe the pure state of being, unencumbered by false belief. Simply put, it is a purity of being.

You asked what clarified the realisation in an earlier post. It was writing a timeline of the childhood as it was experienced, and seeing that this story was a lens through which the world was filtered.

This distilled awareness into something clearer.

Hi Jason,

I don't have any more question for you so I will share our exchange with others guides to have their input. This is part of our confirmation process. It might lead to some questions or to a confirmation of your seeing.

I'll be back soon.
