I have a question from a fellow guide:
It's more like ok you fooled me again , true, but that doesn't make you real.
Who is being fooled?

Who is being fooled?
No one.
Questions for Q6
1. What exactly is it that has a separate self?
Nothing
2. What exactly is it that has a "dream state"?
Nothing, dreams occur, like preferences and pets, arising and passing.
3. Is there a 'you' and a separate self? If so, describe where this 'you' and 'separate self' are located.
No.Both are ideas. Ideas don't have locations.
Questions for Q4
1. What exactly is it that is "seeing awareness as nothing" and that is " morphing into the self as blank space."?
Seeing is happening, independent of a separate seer. Ideas morph into blank space, all they ever were anyway. Precise detail doesn't lend itself to absence.
1. Where does this separate self exist that appears and pokes out her tongue? Describe this separate self in precise detail and describe where it is located.
It has no location or appearance, as it isn't real. The reference to that jeering self was metaphorical for a feeling of loss of clarity or of forgetting the illusory essence of self.
2. How exactly does the thought "I know a secret" become a "separator" What exactly is separating from what?
.
That thought, I know a secret [that there are no separate selves], becomes a separator as it leads into the next thought/sense :specialness. Before even noticing the specialness there is an I claiming it as mine. That assumption, my specialness, then delineates this self from all the other selves. this person, from other people.

Regarding the last answer in my last reply, the separator isn't real. It's just that it seems real before looking more closely.

Is the illusory essence of self something that needs to be remembered like new knowledge, or was it experienced that there is no self?

Are you sure of there being no self to the same degree as you are sure that the tooth fairie doesn't exist?

was it experienced that there is no self?
Yes it was. More than once. And that experience is easily overlooked. Distractions arise, then a mental habit of making their content my own is most often the reflex. Having had (yes, past tense) that experience doesn't preclude ideas about doubting its reliability. Just like certainty comes and goes, doubts follow suit. In this moment the content of that doubt is: "was it experienced? can this reply be sent with conviction about the purity of its truth?" and the next thought: i just crossed back to the side of the gate where a gate appears to be real. Thoughts. Thoughts about self deception. Thoughts like, "let me through!" Thoughts that there is no one to let anyone through. Thoughts that my own experience is my ticket, that that ticket becomes Void if it is in fact mine. No ticket holders. No VIPs, no gate, no sweat. HA! so yes, like before beginning, confusion is around, but the questions feel less demanding of answers. The questions are now more like balls to bounce than balloons to pop.
Is the illusory essence of self something that needs to be remembered like new knowledge,
Sometimes the myth of self is obvious or subtly there, other times a sense arises that it needs remembering or that a pause to sit with DE could refresh the exposure of the illusion.
Are you sure of there being no self to the same degree as you are sure that the tooth fairie doesn't exist?
Who is here to evaluate degrees of certainty? Just kidding, kind of. I would have to believe in the self who's story says that it's degree of certainty about any given thing is not relevant to that thing's existence. Being sure or not sure the tooth fairy exists, doesn't impact the existence of the tooth fairy. The idea of self arises, not interested about beliefs or whether its real, but just because it can.
