No, there never was anything like a separate entity…that was an illusion.

2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.

Well , here and now as these words are being written there is no sense of a separate entity …just words beeing written (thought label), the sounds of a fan (thought label), colours, sensations, thoughts…at this moment a thought memory points to a story about a character that “was born a long time ago”, named Zulu, two sons, married three times, and on and on and on…but NOW it is all seen as just what it is (a story)…there is no one here that lived that story. EVERYTHING is being lived NOW…there is no past or future, not even present…those are just concepts, thought labels pointing to a fiction. That story still arises here and probably will never stop to do so, but there is no one attached to it.

3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.

It’s a great relief. Before these dialogues there was a completely tied person in a story, suffering with her dramas and fearing for her future . A person completely lost in her thoughts, feelings and concepts , finding himself separated from the rest of creation . Now, life keeps going on naturally, no big deal. But if a could use one word to say what happens here I would use the word FREEDOM. And what is being perceived is that freedom has always been here . This moment has always been freedom. Nobody is free…there is just freedom…bordless.

4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?

Recently the smallest things have made me look like stopping to look at my hand and see that there is nothing there, just colors ... this is fantastic !! Driving the car , running on the beach, chat with friends, it makes me look , and look in a completely different way. Now there is nobody there doing these things…everything just happens. Fantastic!!

5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.

There is no free will at all. There is nobody here to choose anything. Everything just happens. It seems to have someone here controlling things, making decisions, making choices , but all this is perceived as they really are… just thoughts and sensations. Life has no control at all. And that’s wonderful !!
Sitting on the couch writing to the forum when suddenly a thought arises "time to work out" and then another thought "raises the butt of the couch and let's go" and when I realize I'm already in the car driving toward the gym. Who decided ? who intended to go to the gym? From whom was the choice between continuing writing to the forum or going to the gym? Nobody did that…things just happened….to see it is awesome.
