Awesome!
Last question
You said earlier, "I feel very much that I am starting from scratch and that I am quite ignorant and rather helpless at life, more so than I had realized."
do you still feels helpless?

I don't think it matters. "Helpless" is a judgment call about something that isn't real.

Helpless entity isn't real, but the sense of helplessness, is it still lingering? Or has it cleared?
Sometimes one can get stuck in a state of "I have no control, why to move a finger" hope this is not the case with you.
Can you write a bit about how your normal every day life looks now.

I have eased up on some of my neurotic habits. I quit smoking. But things aren't terribly different.
I am more likely to notice and marvel at details. I am not so concerned with shielding my ego, worrying what others think of me, or anticipating a grim and humiliating future. I am not "happy," per se. But there is a quiet sense of freedom.
Often, I still feel overwhelmed by excruciating emotions, but there is no central character that is being overwhelmed. These are not warnings of looming disaster. They are just experiences. I will remember them differently than I experienced them, because there is no fixed entity here. Never was.
It is not altogether unpleasant!

The initial rush of shedding the self has made me feel younger than I have in years. I still have a he'll of a lot to learn.
