Another question. You wrote
There is it seems a path and allthat happens to us negative or positive its taking us along the path...
What is the path? What is taking us along it. Again, please answer in terms of your direct experience. Please read your answer to make sure it is in terms of direct experience before hitting the "submit" button.

Thanks.

there is no path just a figure of speech, however perhaps it is as I said life happening in my experience that is how it feels and absolutely every experience we have or feel is just a part of our happening , I hope this makes sense I understand how I have previously explained it may have not read well

Could you please describe, in terms of direct experience, what it is like to answer a question like, "what is the path and what is taking us along it?"

Charlotte, this is frustrating. I don't see an answer to the last question - "what is it like to answer..."

its strange it happened last time when I replied late at night. I don't mind only that with an honest answer at the time, I cannot remember what I said, but no matter.
Along the line there is no visual path and maybe I should not have said it in that way. What I feel is life is just doing life through us, through our experiences and we will.
Answering is as that
all we experience is all that is meant to happen. I realise there is no path going anywhere soon, as we are already as we are and all that matters is now, the present moment, that is all we ever have.

That answer isn't in terms of direct experience.

I don't want to continue this way.

Can you please read the thread again (p 1 or 2), learn about "direct experience" again and answer again?

as i said Armstrong i did reply this morning, but again it is not here. I do understand about direct experience, and am not sure what you mean you do not continue , however i will try to expain in a way that you want me to explain.
Answering the question about me and how i feel.It is me typing on a keyboard I dont know what i am going to type now i feel like i am back at school,it feels distant but close, my fingers seem much longer than they are they are moving alone i am not moving them it feels that way. i do not see what i am typing i am just typing. I know i do not exist and it is just something that mind body is feeling the experience of experience as it is always felt in all it is always there never changing, but then always changing. There never was a path there is no path, i cannot do anything or change anything to a non existent self.Feeling now a strange wave in my chest am i telling you what you want me to tell you i can only describe my felt experience which is this.

Your description of typing is in terms of direct experience - nice!

So I asked you to answer in terms of your direct experience. You wrote, "I know I do not exist..."

That isn't in terms of direct experience. I can't help you if you keep doing this - spewing concepts again and again.

You agreed that you'd stop.

So what's going on? I asked you to read your answer and delete it if it wasn't in terms of direct experience. Somehow that instruction didn't have the desired effect.

Can you please try again? If you'd rather stop, or get a different guide, that's ok with me too. I don't want to waste your time. Anoher guide might be a better fit for you.

I do not understand and was not aware I was spewing concepts, that is not my intention, I am trying to answer what you are asking me in the right way, I am being honest and describing as best I can, and apologise for it not being as you want. I do not want another guide, and this I think can be a learning experience for us both.

Can you confirm what it is you would like me to answer and I will, I do not want to waste you time and I think you for yours, so tell me what I need to answer or explain, as I have lost the thread it seems. I am always present and in the now, as it is all we have.

Well, hopefully we can work this out.

Can you please describe what "direct experience" means to you? You've listened to the audio and read stuff here. But somehow when I ask you to talk about your direct experience, you write " the right things happen as they are supposed to happen" - which isn't something you see, hear, touch, etc. Nor is it in terms of your emotions or thoughts.

Is the problem that you don't understand what the term "direct experience" means? Are you, for some reason, unable to pay attention to your raw experience? Or something else?

My reply is late I had an emergency and have only just got back online.
I think my understanding of direct experience is understood that there is no I to understand and for example if there is a lovely sound of the birds tweeting outside I am aware that it is just the hearing of a sound and not an I hearing a sound the same would go for looking at a sunset, it is a the seeing of a sunset and not an I seeing a sunset, please do correct me if I am going off course again.

No. I suggest you listen to the audio again.

Direct experience is just your moment to moment experience. As you read this, you see the characters - there is seeing. You feel the pressure of your body on the ground, a chair, etc. There's hearing of ambient noise.

If you read what you wrote, "I think my understanding of direct experience is understood that there is no I to understand..." that is a thought about experience.

Direct experience is what your experiencing now. If you're frustrated, disappointed, etc, you've got feelings, right now.

How about you try listening and doing this, and report back what you experience? http://liberationunleashed.com/LU_Audio ... n%2007.mp3
