No person, unless names,labels, stories and thoughts and beliefs somehow solidify in to an entity, but that's abstract. They point to no one, they just are.

There are questions based on concept, like the concept of a soul. But its mainly conjecture. There was this experience a few times where I (not as mind, but a very physical feeling, seeing experience) was out of body floating around.. and the flesh and bone body was laying on the bed. That still seems like something other than a mind created illusion. It was still an experience happening as part of the dream scape.

Anyway, I've spent a lot of time dancing around with questions like that. Its not important. From what is seen and experienced here, and now, YES the separate entity is Indeed a mind created illusion.

Least that's my take. But a friend said to me today- "if yu were seeing and living what you just wrote the questions (about soul) would be GONE". :( This is disturbing and frustrating. Frustration or doubt over whether this is seen clearly.

Nothing in direct experience informs of separate entities or how many. I cannot see souls driving other bodies.

And my answer was- Ego identity is no different than the I , me separate self as I see it. Just another label for that conditioned construct. Ego has been thought of as defensive, and envisioned as being somewhere in the back of the brain. envisioned as a fried egg..lol. But in looking its not there like the rest. only in concept and acting on concept and belief.

yes, ego is another label on behavioral patterns. if you replace word ego with word character, then it's not so negative anymore. character does not change as a result of seeing through illusion of self. it's seen that there is no one here to own the character. life goes on as it did.

Ilona, There's this thing that happens with doubting, and needing to give the "right" answer, and fear of getting it "wrong". There was some deliberation with the first two questions, but those answers feel right.
Since there is no one, no I, no person, then there is ONLY awakeness being awake.

The right answer is the one that comes from seeing, as description of what is being seen.
Awareness being awake? Take the words awakeness and awake away and you arrive at simply being.
