Hi Kathanna,

One of the guides asks this:
I am responsible for my own state of mind. I am responsible for developing complete acceptance and openness..."
Who is responsible?
Can one develop "complete acceptance and openness" through mind tactics?

Hello,

Thank you Petrus. It was a pleasure to be guided by you.

I knew that answer would raise questions, but I couldn't give the easy answer! To say that "I" am not responsible for anything may be true, but realizing the emptiness of self and others seems to naturally broaden the awareness and acceptance of being part of a larger responsibility for everything because of also not being separate from it. The "self" that has be seen as not real is not responsible obviously.

No, mind tactics have never worked for me. By responsible I mean that once seeing that the separate self is a lie we have told ourselves, once seeing the truth of existence, once waking up, in order not to fall back into semi ignorance, it is necessary to keep looking, to keep noticing contraction or expansion of the heart in every situation. In my experience, It seems actually that this is something that just begins to happen naturally. There is an opening with "seeing" and then wonder and gratitude about the opening and then more opening can occur as a result of the positive reaction to the gift. If the reaction is fear and closing down, more opening would not be the result. So I guess, what I mean by "responsibility" is about cause and effect and surrender to what is.

Hi Kathanna,

The other guides dont have more questions.
So now a LU admin will contact you and invite you for the "post-gate" groups.

Once again, I enjoyed guiding you.

Warm regards, Petrus

Thank you for everything. In the midst of unexpected difficulties, the heart remains open.

I watched the Puppetji video by the way. Very funny and also "profound"!
