A request for clarification from another guide:
You preface answers 1 and 2 with the phrase "in direct experience". I'm wondering, is there a self NOT in direct experience? Is the illusion different in DE than in everyday perception?

There is not a self anywhere in any experience - I appreciate the term direct experience can seem like a concept it's not - I use the phase to indication that words do not describe some kind of self analysing experience but rather words describe simply experience - no separation no boundaries no labels - experience

Also there is no distinction between an experiencer and experience it just is...
