having had the chat we have since I asked the 6 questions is there anything to add/change to the previous answers to the 5 questions?

1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you seeit now.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
5) Do you decide, intend, choose, control events in Life? Do you make anything
happen? Give examples from your experience.
6) Anything to add?

Dear Smudge,
1. No, there was never a separate entity, self me or I anywhere, in any shape or form.

2. The illusion of a separate self is that there is a belief in having an 'I',a controller. It started for me with the awareness that 'I' had been left outside the cottage in the garden, in my pram, wearing a harness, I could hear my nanny talking inside the cottage and felt isolated and left out..
The illusion of a separate self works when there is no awareness of direct experience.

3. How does it feel to see this? It feels deeply loving, contented.
The difference since starting this dialogue is that the heart is saturated with a loving contentment, this feeling has grown, or become stronger over the days.

4. What pushed me over was when the message came for me on LU asking who I was.

5. There is no 'I' that decides, chooses , controls events or makes any thing happen. What makes things happen is a sequence or process of events, causes..
e.g. eating a takeaway Indian meal, taste that the spices are hot, burning my mouth, eyes and nose begin to run, push my chair back, stand up and walk to the kitchen and pick up a tissue, walk back to the table and sit down on the chair, wipe my eyes and nose. Continue eating.

e.g. Try on a new cotton vest, the fabric feels soft, feel disappointed as the straps are too long for my body . Walk into the studio, pick up the sewing box and take out a needle and thread, thread the needle. Holding the cotton vest, adjust the straps by sewing, making them shorter. Try on the vest, now it fits my body comfortably, feel satisfied.
