Wow, Pallavi, you got me with that one. I know I don't breathe because I know. Is it I that is feeling emotions? I'm stuck on that. Stimuli happens, either internally or externally, which triggers a thought, which triggers an emotion. I know thoughts happen w/out me so I can see how emotions can happen w/out a me, but I can't SEE how!

When I open my eyes I see objects in my field of vision, that is all, until I label them.

are things really separate? I meant they provide their function w/out a me doing anything. But still the question itself is mesmerizing because there has been reading and watching information that provides a me with the knowledge that all matter is made od the same materials, but I have never experienced or felt that all is one, but I wish I could/did.

Hope I'm not frustrating you.

There has been increasing feelings and noticing that life feels somehow "unreal" the past few days. There has been prolong periods were there has been no thoughts, just a staring into the distance. Its not scary or fearful, just been noticing. Catching thoughts of stories about past and future much quicker. It feels like there's another layer behind this "no me". If there is no me who/what is noticing, observing, feeling. Is what I am only an extension of some larger life force/intelligence that only "uses me" or perceives thru me, as I have nerve endings in my body? I'm feeling smaller and smaller, like a grain of sand on the beach. All very strange.

Is there something that sees?

Does there have to be something that sees?

The function of things- it is something 'you' have ascribed or does a function arise of its own accord?

Don't worry about frustrating. Just see and tell me. You don't have to worry about 'believing' everything is made up of the same thing.

Now, can you see something from infinite angles?
Can you see something from no angle?

Take a look at your hearing. Just open your ears. Are you hearing or are you hearing something?

sometimes it feels like I own the seeing , sometimes there is just seeing

a picture frame or a television is material that were assembled for their purpose, I didn't do anything, I merely use the label attached to them for reasons of identification in communication. I didn't make the television do televisioning it does it on its .

confused about infinite angle-no angle thing

hearing -the drum receives vibrations and the mind labels them

What is the difference between feeling like you own it and seeing it?

What is just seeing?

Ok, when you look at something with your eyes, are you seeing it from one angle, several angles, or no angle?

Hearing- what do you hear before the mind labels it?

Can you hear silence?

when I feel like I own it I notice that my mind is in a story, when I'm just seeing there are no thoughts around.

Just seeing is -that's hard to put into words suddenly-eyes are open, stuff is there

My gut response is no angle

before mind labels are only sounds

sometimes it seems silence can be heard--don't know if I'm hearing silence or just vibrations from things/life

"when I feel like I own it I notice that my mind is in a story, when I'm just seeing there are no thoughts around."
Yes, can you try this with smelling, hearing and tasting?

Try it with touching. Touch without listening to your thoughts- what do you feel?

Does your body have a boundary?

Is there a difference between hearing sound and hearing silence?

Eyes are open- does it make a difference if stuff is there or not until it focuses on something?

When we see- light rays reflect off stuff and our eyes receive it linearly right? doesn't that mean we just see one angle? one perspective?

"Just seeing is -that's hard to put into words suddenly-eyes are open, stuff is there"

Haha I like that :)

when my is mind is anticipating a smell, sound or a taste, as in cooking bacon, it feels more attached to a me. Again if there are no thoughts it feels somehow new or fresh.

I tried touching things with my eyes closed, my mind automatically applies labels. I have memories of touching things, perhaps in the dark in a foreign environment and recall my first feelings were fear, because it was unknown to me.

I don't think my body has a finite boundary because very often I can sense someone is looking at me, I look and someone is. But this happens without any thought and it happens quite often.

Yes hearing sounds happens between my ears, hearing silence is more felt, sensed.

Eyes only focus when thoughts are attached.

Eyes only see one angle when thoughts are attached.

Meant to say- eyes only see one angle when labeling is attached.

Who told you that hearing sounds happens between your ears. How is silence sensed?
If you were deaf how would you know whether there is sound or silence?
