Thanks for your answers Jorge.
There is knowing with certainty. Thanks for the clarification and re-assurance of the process.
Yes, it is a change in perspective. No fireworks though.
Yes, this feels like a starting point.
Personality=conditioned thoughts and thought tendencies that arise habitually. There is no me for them to come from. They are not me. They come conditioned by other thoughts. But lots of thoughts that do arise are similar and recurring.
There 'are' or seems to be other mind/bodies through which thoughts, emotions and feelings are arising and passing.
There is no 'me' to be in control. 'Free will does not exist' so there is no me to control anything.
Yes, everything is running by itself. Surrender.

Please, take your time, not a rush at all, and answer with all honesty
keep in mind that it is possible that after answering these questions may or may not be more, your answers will be put into consideration of the other guides for access to aftercare groups
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?
Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it
works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this
dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
5) Do you decide, intend, choose, control events in Life? Do you make anything
happen? Give examples from your experience.
6) Anything to add?

Re: Polite request for guidance.
Couldn't sleep Jorge. Answered the questions.
1. There are thoughts arising and passing. The 'I' doesn't exist. It never did either. It was always more of an untested implication. Something unquestioned and untested.
2. The separate self is the unquestioned assumption that thoughts, feeling, actions and emotions have an owner. That 'someone' is thinking, acting, feeling etc. The illusion is that when looked for this 'self' is nowhere to be found. It is an untested implication.
The idea of self seems a by-product of human evolution. A phantom of the mind. I think that it is a natural part of a human being's development and also something that is societally and culturally enforced and encouraged. It starts when as a child…maybe around the age of 2, we are taught to distinguish between self and other.
3. There is a sense of underlying calm and well-being. The big thing for me is the realization of no free will. Surrendering the grasping for control. A weight lifted. It's interesting to watch which thoughts and emotions arise without the feeling of attachment to them.
4. Thoughts about control and free will. I suppose it was all cumulative. But less identification with the the idea of free will. I had done some work, looked into the idea of dependent origination before but never really looked at the implications. The implications are that there is no free will. Consciousness watches things arise and pass. They are dependent on other things which are themselves dependent on other things ad infinitum. There is no owner or controller, just watching. it is comforting and beautiful.
5. There are no decisions or choices. it is an illusion. All events are conditioned by other thoughts and events. They just happen. Life is an example. Typing…before there was the idea of a typist. Now typing happens. The only way that it can. Every single thought or event in life culminates in this moment…then the next moment…and the next.
6. Nothing to add...yet.

Re: Polite request for guidance.
It's funny how many times I used the word 'implications'.
Re: Polite request for guidance.
