Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there
ever?

Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
No, no separate self... Yesterday I woke up and I could see with greater clarity how the thoughts, sensations and emotions just happen in this vast empty space. I felt there was no ground to stand on, it felt different..."I" felt fear coming. But then I watched the fear as one of those emotions that appear and disappear. And later it indeed disappeared.
Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
Are you 100% clear there is no separate self, even when thoughts are about the self existence and doubts arise?
Do you think we are done here or is there something about the illusion that you would like to look more at?

Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
Thank you, it's very king of "you". Indeed there are doubts any time there are emotions related to "me". For example, if there is no "me", how feeling guilty is possible. Or if someone say something bad about me, it still hurts.
Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
In the soup of emotions we have, can it be said it happens to us? whats their to be responsible and take ownership when thoughts themselves are sensations felt?

Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
the emotion happen to us, but somehow when this non existent "me" gets attacked, painful emotions happen consistently
Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
what's being attacked?

Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
imagine that someone attacks you verbally, what will you feel?
Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
I'm asking what is it that the verbal abuse is hitting off of?

Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
I asked my question to see how a person that can see with 100% clarity that there is no self, reacts to a verbal attack against him.
Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
To answer your question, what is being attacked is non existent self
Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
when Im name called that could send me into a reactive state trying to defend myself or I feel bad if I was made to feel shame but that stuff only works if I need to defend something or I think I can be at fault for something but truth reveals nobody can feel anything because the person is a concept and not true so peoples words about me are irrelevant to me because it doesn't affect a me because how could it, its not there? you're not a form of communication that can be manipulated by another person. being aware of symbols your above and beyond them but thats no good if its not realised being identified with thoughts. So you can't find a person in you, what can you find?

if there is no self, what are you trying to defend?
Isn't shame only possible if there is self, because shame is directly related to self (self is feeling smaller)I was made to feel shame
So you do think that you are at fault sometimes (meaning responsible)I think I can be at fault
but you just said that you feel shame and feel at fault, and we do feel those thingstruth reveals nobody can feel anything
but at the beginning you did say that it affects you sometimesit doesn't affect a me because how could it, its not there?
Does it mean that realized people can be back to illusion from time to time?
To your question:
Life happens, thoughts, body sensations, feelings, perceptionso you can't find a person in you, what can you find?
Re: eyes wide shut? lets open them
If I get into a reactive state, but if I'm being present that is less likely, Old habits die hard, its not like one day boom you drop years of conditioning
But the truth is always the same and illusions are seen threw in time because it becomes evident that the truth of your being holds more validity than thoughts about it.
What in you can be responsible?
