Hi Jenny. :)

What about the illusion of separate self?
Are you crystal clear that it is an illusion? Please tell how you see the "self" now.

Also, please tell what has changed from when we started this conversation.
Do you feel a kind of shift happened during the course of our conversation? If so, when?
Could you pinpoint the page (and possibly the post)?

Regards,

Kento
Hi Kento :D

The above post was from around 10/24 maybe on page 11. That was when I first saw it but it has become clearer with continued conversation.

How do I see the "self" now? I see the self as imaginary. I see it as a string of thoughts that vanish. There never was a self.

What has changed since we started this conversation: there used to be thoughts of a separate self, a doer, and a thinker. Those are gone now. Now there is just typings, seeing, hearing, thoughts arising, feeling, etc.

Great, Jenny. :)

Would you like to proceed to the final questions asked at the end of
conversation? Anything left to be inquired into?

Warmly,

Kento
Hi Kento :D
I would love to proceed.
Thank you,
Jenny

Ok, Jenny, here you are!

1) Can you say with 100% certainty that you have realised that there is no separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?
Was there ever?

2) Share in your own words what the illusion of separate self is and how it shows up in experience. Also, through your inquiry, what is different now?

3) How does it feel to see this?
What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.

4) What was the last bit that pushed you over; made you look?

5) a) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? Give examples from your own recent experiences to how things happen and how things work.

b) What are you responsible for? Give examples from your own recent experiences to how this works.

6) Anything to add?

Enjoy. :)

Kento

Hi Kento,

1) Can you say with 100% certainty that you have realised that there is no separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?
Was there ever?

With 110% certainty "I" can say that there is no separate entity "self", "me", "I", in any shape or form and there never was.

2) Share in your own words what the illusion of separate self is and how it shows up in experience. Also, through your inquiry, what is different now?

The illusion of the separate self is the idea that there is a separate entity who controls their thinking and actions. Through. inquiry "i" see that there is no self, no thinker, and no doer.

3) How does it feel to see this?
What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.

It feels like freedom. One of the biggest differences since the dialogue started is that before there was a sense of ownership. That feeling is gone now. Here and now just watching life unfold. There is no judgment. Things can't happen any other way. Acceptance of what is.

4) What was the last bit that pushed you over; made you look?

Taking the word awareness out of the equation and realizing there is no time between perception and knowledge.

5) a) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? Give examples from your own recent experiences to how things happen and how things work.

All of these are illusions. I don't know what makes things happen, if "I" venture a guess one thing triggers another. For example if an ad for ice cream is seen then ice cream may be sought and consumed. From recent experience, these questions were asked so "I' answer them. Listening to nature sounds prompts "me" to close my eyes and meditate.

b) What are you responsible for? Give examples from your own recent experiences to how this works.

I"" am not responsible for anything. Things happen as a chain of events. For example "my" dogs beg for food and "I" feed them. "My" brother suggested I go to liberation unleashed and so "I" did.

6) Anything to add?

Thank you for your time and patience. It is greatly appreciated.

Much love,
Jenny

Hi Jenny. :)

I'm asking other guides to have a look at the thread, and it might take some time.
Please wait for a while, and please don't hesitate to consult when doubts or questions appear.

Thank you,

Kento
