That's probably true, then.
Go thorough it daily or do until you feel clear. Post here daily. Then we'll proceed.

I gave that video a one day break and came back and there was still a lot of emotion. A lot of chills up and down the body and feeling of coldness.

Sounds like it's working.
Be brave. As Byron Katie says, "The worst that can happen is a thought."

Tried again. Still energetic but emotionality went down to a 7 (vs 10 on day 1). Will keep coming back to this one more frequently

Nice.
So, let me remind you that we do not expect a "permanent recognition of no self." It is expected to come and go. Maybe for years. There are other methods to explore further, but not here at LU. What we want here is 100% recognition that there is no separate self.
if the apple is unknown nothing is known.
How does this land now? Nothing is known.

Answer with DE, please.
How does it FEEL to see this? That nothing is known.

Ha you got me , that was indeed a thought.
How does it FEEL to see this? That nothing is known.
Nothing comes up. Just silence in the body, slow breathing continues, a little expansion of the chest, a nice feeling below the ribs (could be from the coffee i drank before). But no panic or fear that I can detect

Great.
Do you see how this correlates with the truth or "yes" feeling we learned earlier? This sort of feeling is an indication you are thinking something that is true. Follow those. Be with it.

Sorry. I closed this to take a little time to think what next and did not get back to it. Good that you wrote even when I didn't.
Fear and expectations are pretty much the only things that can hold you back from seeing now. Both involve believing lies, untrue thoughts. These keep you out of direct awareness of the present moment.
Let's look at this idea of "choice."
Palm Flipping Exercise
1. Hold a hand in front of you; palm turned down.
2. Now turn the palm up. And down...and up and so on.
Watch like a hawk.
Don't go to thoughts – examine your direct experience.
Do this as many times as you like, and each time inquire:
How is the movement controlled?
Does a thought control it?
Can a ‘controller’ of any description be located?
How is the decision made to turn the hand over?
Track any decision point when a thought MADE THE DECISION to turn the hand over and the hand turns over immediately.
Who or what chose which hand - the left or right hand for the exercise?
Can you find a separate individual or anything that is choosing when to turn the palm up or down?
How does this FEEL?

How is the movement controlled?
I don't know
Does a thought control it?
A thought sets the intention to move the hand, but then the contoller of actual movement is unknown
Can a ‘controller’ of any description be located?
No
How is the decision made to turn the hand over?
The decision just makes itself. Playing with it , a thought will appear and that triggers the movement of the hand. So thoughts decide to move the hand.
Who or what chose which hand - the left or right hand for the exercise?
the hand was randomly chosen by a thought
Can you find a separate individual or anything that is choosing when to turn the palm up or down?
No
How does this FEEL?
It feels true. Pleasant sensations around the upper body, expansion feeling etc.

Thanks for resuming! Anything that can be done to get out of the fear/expectations loop?
