Dear Stacy
I am practicing the dropbox pointers. I've listen to the first two, and they deserve to be heard again.
I love the first one, and found it helpful.
I can clearly see that there is no entity called self or I in my experience. And I can also clearly see that the seeking is driven by a belief of something expected. I will keep on practicing the pointers.
This is how I experience the butt and chair exercise. There is no line that separates me from the chair. Today I almost felt just as much as the chair as the butt. There is no division in sitting. Feeling the sitting like this is delicious.
Orienting towards the senses = Nothing needs to change
Orienting towards the thoughts = I am not there yet, something needs to change.
While practicing the hand turning exercise, I couldn't find a point where decision is made. I couldn't find a controller either. But I could decide not to turn my hand, so it was a bit confusing.
Thanks for that exercise and your guiding :)

You're welcome.
It does exactly what you think every time?
Or is it only thought that, says so?
What is the exact mechanism that happens?

I looked again and it's confusing. It seems to act on it's own. Strange. Are you sure? Look very closely.

I can't find the mechanism in it. It feels so "organic" to just watch and feel the hands move. Especially if I close my eyes.
Very interesting exercise 😃
Thanks Stacy

Exactly!
One more piece in the puzzle of realizing there is no "self." It is a made up thought story.
It is actually very simple. You are only "confused" because it goes against what you were taught and what you have believed all of your life. Let go of that and it becomes very obvious and simple.
Earlier you posted:
Keep practicing these and writing what you FEEL here. That "deliciousness" is the beginning of SEEING. It often does feel delicious to SEE the truth. That is the expansiveness of the truth feeling.
Much love,

Thank you for this advice. The gut is a good bs detector.Yes, you simply need to stop believing the false thoughts. Notice the tightening of the lie feeling?
I am feeling great today and the day has been simple and nice.
How do you let go of belief?

These pointers will show you what is true. When you clearly see a belief is false, it lets go of you. That is why we LOOK.
We do not "think" our answers. Remember Colored Socks? You might read that again. It is all right there.
Keep practicing ButtChair and doing the DropBox pointers.
Report here how it FEELS to see.

Dear Stacy
In some moments during this week it has become clear that I don't need to chase awakening.
Awakening or awakeness is already here when I just look or hear ect.
I went to buy some dinner for me and my girlfriend, and on my way I could clearly see, that if I didn't entertain my thoughts I could see perfectly fine.
I saw the tree clearly I saw the bushes clearly. I didn't get anything from it, but there is gratetude and joy in seeing. Like looking at my hands right now. It's like seeing them freshly. There is no meaning or answers in the seeing of them. But there is a sense of depth and not really knowing what I am looking at.
When sitting and practicing butt chair I still sense the chair and butt as one sensing. Noticing that feels like connecting to something deep.
This is what I feel today when sensing.
This feels really true 🙏
Thank you for your guiding and your patience 😊

Can you say 100% that there's no separate self anywhere?

Hi Stacy
If I look I find no separate self anywhere in my experience. E.g. when I am doing the pointers. There is no self anywhere.
But I still get lost in thought. But that is probably because I expect that I will no longer become lost in thoughts when awaken. That's a belief.
In my direct experience the is no separate entity to be found. But what does it mean to be 100% sure of anything?
I will continue to ponder the pointers to become more clear.
Have a lovely day and evening.
🙏
I can only give a double answer to that question. Can you say 100% that there's no separate self anywhere?

Hi Stacy
I loves the videos. Now I just need to trust the proces.
I definitely feel like a self or an I at times. But when I look for that self it can’t be found.
There is definitely something having an experience, but calling that something or I or self feels like lying or just saying too much. Those words don’t convey what lived experience feels like at all.
I’ll write here until it’s completely clear 🙏
Thank you 🙏

Hi,
What if it's a mystery that can never be conveyed in words?
You see, words limit the experience. They can't be 100% accurate. What's here just is.

This has been clear for me for some time now. Words or thoughts can't convey reality. What if it's a mystery that can never be conveyed in words?
I have had a really busy day today. Really tired. Just wanted to chime in and say that I am still practicing the pointers.

Re: Faroese, living in Denmark trying to wake up :)
Try this:
Explore ‘Sense of Self’
Let’s say that you have lost your keys and you swear that you left them in your coat. You go to look and check all the pockets - the keys are not there. You swear they must be as that was the last place you remember them. You have a vivid memory of putting them there after you left the house. But when you check they are not there. At this point you can keep believing that the keys are in your pocket, or you can admit you were mistaken.
This is just like that. You may see clearly that the self is an illusion but still feel a sense of self - just like the keys. But feeling something to be true and seeing that it is or is not is different. This is why we may find ourselves coming back to your expectations at the start and at the end.
Now, I’d like to ask you to explore this SENSE of self very-very thoroughly. Not by thinking about it, but by FEELING it. Keep the focus of attention on the sense of self and inquire:
Does the sense of self have a location?
Does the sense of self have a shape or a size?
Does the sense of self say or communicate anything?
If the answer is yes, how does the sense do this exactly?
Does the sense of self have any characteristics or attributes?
What is the sense of self ‘made of’? An image? Sound? Taste? Smell? Sensation? Thought?
What is found?
