Hi Warissem

Sorry for the late reply, but I preferred to take my time for taking a good look at your questions.
Does awareness (being aware) in desperation? Is the body saying something about its health?
Obviously not, it's only the thought that has something to say about this situation.
There is only a thought of identification which is: "I am desperate". Recognize all thoughts as what they are: just thoughts and don't give them credit. Is there someone behind "I" saying "I am desperate"? need to look at the thought I, me and catch its falsity.
The emotion of desperation is real, but the I-though that takes possession of the emotion and identifies with it is not real at all.
Also, the emotion of desperation itself arises only because the I-thought mechanism is still in place as habitual identification with someone to which scary and difficult things happen.

Thanks, Warissem for giving me the possibility to look again at all this stuff. Unfortunately, as you said, old habits don't disappear with a finger click.
Maybe in the Facebook group, I will have the opportunity to ask for clarifications if old habits arise again.

All the best

Hi Akshant
The emotion of desperation is real,
Do you see an emotion of desperation in direct experience ? Really, it is an emotion (a movement of energy) which is labeled “emotion of desperation”. You see what I mean : there is a need to see reality as it is and dissociate between the real “thing” and the concepts which are describing it (if not dramatizing it).

but the I-though that takes possession of the emotion and identifies with it is not real at all.
Can a thought take possession or identify with something ? Do you see that what is said is a thought story ?

Also, the emotion of desperation itself arises only because the I-thought mechanism is still in place as habitual identification with someone to which scary and difficult things happen.
Who knows ?

Is there really a you to look ?

Look directly at what is here now and answer the questions after having SEEN the truth of them.

Best for you

Hi [[Warissem]]
Do you see an emotion of desperation in direct experience? Really, it is an emotion (a movement of energy) that is labeled “emotion of desperation”.
Yes, you are right, in my direct experience, there is only an energetic movement and thoughts that say something about it.
You see what I mean: there is a need to see reality as it is and dissociate between the real “thing” and the concepts which are describing it (if not dramatizing it).
Yes, I understand why this is important: without labels, the emotion is more "fluid" so to say, in the sense that is less sticky and taken more lightheartedly.
Can a thought take possession or identify with something? Do you see that what is said is a thought story?
Yes, thoughts can't do anything: identification happens by itself and this is it.
Who knows?
You are right, ultimately I don't know.
Identification happens and the why is only a story.
Is there really a you to look at?
Nope. It's all a spontaneous happening.

All the best
