There is no "I"

So, what happened that you are able to say this?
What is the I that is not there?
How would you explain this to someone who wanted to understand?

If "you" does not exist what is creating this story.

You tell me. What does the story consist of? Is something creating the story?

So all these possessions we have are simply attempts to verify a me. "I" have stuff therefor I exist :)

Can you find, in your direct experience, a body, a mind, a body/mind?

If these are indeed stories, concepts, then where do they come from?
What is it that creates the illusion of separation in the first place? In this moment- what does the illusion consist of, what is it made of?

Is there a purpose?

Hmmm... does that question really make sense in the context of what's been seen now?

In a lot of traditions there exist notions of enlightenment, liberation, awakening. What are your thoughts on that at the moment?

That depends on what you mean by the question, really, and what the present experience is, of course.
Could you elaborate a bit?

The aim of this forum is really quite straightforward and simple. There will surely be a lifetime of interesting stories to examine, yet the purpose of this forum is simply to examine the self-story, so easily taken to be real.

So, my question back at you is simply: would you be able to ever in the existence of an actual, separate self? Would that be possible?

The reason I'm asking you to write some more, and in some more detail, is because it is indeed entirely possible to turn the initial grasping of the illusion of separation into more delusion and retreat into subtler forms of identity. The possibilities are endless. So: tell me: is there a you here at all, in any way, shape or form?
