Hi Kento,Seems like there is an entity that witnesses the thoughts.
How do you perceive that entity?
It's impossible to see
Thanks,
Jenny
Hi Kento,Seems like there is an entity that witnesses the thoughts.
How do you perceive that entity?
I guess you imagine itHi. :)
Ok, if so, how do you perceive it?
My thoughts feel like they are happening in an echo chamber. I see things but immediately attach words. I don't know how to perceive the observer/witness. It just seems to exist. If I look for an observer I just see a reflection of everything that is happening. Not everything that is happening but whatever my attention is on.No guesses, please.
Look at how you, yourself, are perceiving that "entity" when you say you
perceive it.
I don't know how to perceive the observer/witness. It just seems to exist.
It is just a belief, a strongly held thought. If it doesn't exist does it follow that if I can't perceive something then it doesn't exist?I don't know how to perceive the observer/witness. It just seems to exist.
Do yo mean it exists but it's not perceived in a clear way?
Then, how could you say it exists, in the first place?
I've read about the observer or witness of thoughts so much but have not examined this belief. I can see that it is a belief without any proof.Well, I'm not explaining something, nor asking to think over something.
I'm suggesting that you examine your unexamined belief, if any.
Do you see that it doesn't exist or not?
Please bear in mind that I don't have a "correct" answer to give for you, nor do I intend to give.
I can see that it doesn't exist, my thoughts are fading in and out without an observer.Ok, and do you see that it doesn't exist?
I can see that life is like a dream state. This morning I felt like a cog in the machine. I am just immersed and I have no control over what happens. I'm not sure that I control my reaction. I am the product of what I have been exposed to. Is there something that is real that exists outside of. time and space? Everything seems so unreal.Thanks. :) Can you tell that "it doesn't exist" isn't another belief?
If you were to show me you have viscerally understood (or you have seen) that
it doesn't exist, how would you show it? Please feel free to express it in your own way.
How does it feel? i feel all kinds of things but the feelings are momentary. I feel defeated but elated. The battle is over, I'm putting down my weapons. I feel that this journey goes on and on. The days last longer. I feel curious and amazed. I feel scared at some moments. I feel relaxed and mellow. I feel like I experience things deeper. I feel spacious. I feel empty. How does it feel to see it? This time again, please express it freely.
