Hi Sarah.
Very clearly re thought.
I'm not the doer.
No control over what happens at all, except the weather of course( joke).
Decisions are seemingly made by me sometimes with very solid sense of the maker.
Just appears like that.

Hey
LOL
Decisions are seemingly made by me sometimes with very solid sense of the maker. Just appears like that.
But there is no confusion over whether you make decisions - yes?

Is the "body" just another thought label for sensations?
Are the five body senses made to arise or experienced by this ‘self’?
Is there a self ‘in here’ which is separate from the world and others ‘out there’?

Decisions are not made by anyone but spontaneously arisen instead with thoughts that appeared from nowhere.

Body is just another thought label for sensation.

Wow that's very beautiful. This hit home with me very much! Never heard anything like this before.

In the next sentence the opposite is true:
5 senses make self appear real

Is there self in there ? No self in there. How do I get it to my abiding reality?

Where do you think you are? What says you aren't there? That 'this' isn't it?

Where do I think I am ?
Am I in the first place to be anywhere?
I don't know. All I know is what's here right now: 5 senses fully engaged and saying breakfast time, brain activity telling me go vote. These are in my immediate moment.
Beyond that, I know nothing.
Tell me Sarah.

Excellent!
So do you have a thought that says 'this' isn't it? Or there should be more if only..... or something like?
Is seeking still happening?

The sense of self is insidious little vermin sneaks right back.
It's not that I always seeking in order to get a greater level of awakening. It gives me natural high.
The only time when i feel free of the self to the fullest and live in the presence of what is, when I'm in the midst of your LU quotes or Tony parsons talks or other sources.
I feel I need to keep up or loose it.

Morning!
The sense of self is insidious little vermin sneaks right back.
Look at this. What is it made up of? Pick it apart.
It's not that I always seeking in order to get a greater level of awakening. It gives me natural high.
Get all expectations out there. Is this wanted? Is this wanted to be kept all the time? By what?
The only time when i feel free of the self to the fullest and live in the presence of what is, when I'm in the midst of your LU quotes or Tony parsons talks or other sources.
Again expectation in the 'it's supposed to be like he said' variety! How do you know anything about what he has or hasn't got? You have a story about that right?
I feel I need to keep up or loose it.
Keep up or lose what? What if you never lost it? What tells you you have?

Hi Sarah
If pick apart it's all empty.
One big nothing.
Thoughts are words of language
In mind that are just that.
Nothing else is there no substance.

Hey
And is that the same for the expectations? Can you see those?
And can you see the thought that says 'this isn't it'? The thought that propels you out of now into a nicer place or whatever further down the line in the future, if only........?

Yes Sarah. I see very clearly. Thoughts and thinking makes me go into imagined future and create expectations.
They have no reality on their own unless I'm thinking about em.

Hey
Have a look through your day. See how many of those can you spot? Watch them like you notice others thoughts. Then what happens to them of anything? Have a little chorkle or smile evrytime you spot one! :)

I have been looking as advised.
Very nice. Complete shift.
I bring my attention to awareness without trying to stop or change thought in any way. Thoughts? Let them be who caters they are empty anyway.
Did this all day today and loved it. Planning on doing this from now on every day.
Thank you, Sarah.
How do u suggest to see that my body is just a thought too?

Hey
Can I just check
I bring my attention to awareness.........planning on doing this from now on every day
Do 'you' do that? Or does it simply happen? Are you in control of this?

Ok so let's move onto sensory experience and seperation. And we are going to start off with seeing.

Gaze at an object. Turn up that inner magnifying glass to observe what's happening in direct experience. In seeing, what is being experienced? What is happening when "seeing" is happening? What is doing the seeing? What is being seen? What does "seeing" consists of? Describe the actual, direct experience of seeing. Do you first perceive the object using some other sense, and then see it later? Can you find a dividing line between the object and the seeing of it? Or are the object and the seeing of it inseparable? Is there an entity called "you" experiencing the seeing? Can you find a dividing line between "you" and seeing? Is it an accurate description of direct experience? Are there really three entities there in direct experience, an "I" and seer and an object? Or is there only seeing? What do you see about the thought, "I'm seeing that object"?

Try it with various sights e.g. out of the window at a distant view. See if you can find a way to separate the object from the seeing and the seeing from the seer. Where does one start and the other end? How many senses are there here - 1 or more?
