I am responsible for keeping an eye on "I". Nothing more.

What is the "I" that is responsible to keep and eye on "I"? Can it be found in experience?
I pick up the "I" and something pokes me with a stick.
What picks up the "I"?
Does the “I” pop up? So what! There is emptiness
behind it. Go back to that emptiness and stare at it. Get
familiar with it, focus on it, and let it wash over all that is
still arising as doubt. See that the “I” is empty and it’s okay
for it to be here. It’s just a word. You have to use the word
“I,” as without it, it would be difficult to communicate. It
does not mean that an entity pops up. “I” is just another
thought passing by.
This app quote is exactly what I mean by "Keeping and eye on "I". And yes when the "I" pops up for me it is much like getting poked with a stick. And Yes there is an immediate experience of emptiness behind the "I", the unreal "I".

I feel like I am being force to drop the "I" thought. If so I am lost and very confused.

Ron,

I get what you're saying. I am not asking you to drop the I-thought. I never asked you to do so.

Simply is it clear the the "I" is unreal? That's all I am getting at. That's all I was ever pointing you towards.

Yes and be aware when the "I" thought has been considered real.

Hi Ron,

A guide had another question for you.

What is the "I" that has any control over whether the "I" pops up or is seen through.

Can that self be found in experience???

Best,
Cody

No idea

No

Seeing, Hearing, Feeling all happen, just flow. Memories triggered, thoughts arise.

How lovely... Isn't that beautiful... I made that...

Just came up, watch, just let it be

Part of he agreement is for me to write each day. So I thought I'd comment on today.

Investigation continues controlled by what I do not know. Thought just come up out of know where. They are just thoughts. I see no controller, feel no controller. Trying to figure it out is thinking. Observing finds nothing. Thoughts just pop up.

Today's meditation was particularly quiet. Experience clear. Witnessing - interesting concept but from clear experience there is just clear experience, no witness, no I.

Now to the interesting one, pure being or even Awareness. As I said this morning was particularly clear. Just clarity. How to explain simple clear experience. Sure you can say Awareness but isn't that just another word for seeing. When sensing is clear with no thoughts arising even for short periods the system becomes very quiet, silent relaxed, peace and pleasant feelings.

Not even thoughts of who is experiencing this, just simple clarity. Of course after a bit the mind winds up and throws noise around. Who does this, no findings, intention brings back quiet clarity. Who's intention - now that's the paradox.
