So then JP
Ready for some final questions? Take as much time with these as you wish and answer in as much detail as needed. I will then check them over to see if there is anything I have missed and then show the other guides to see if 'I' have missed anything if that is ok with you?
Sure! No problem...
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
No
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
It begins with thoughts that use words and labels to tell a story. There's a moment upon waking where I just am, and then a few seconds later I remember the "story" of my life, who "I" am.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
I am more often absorbed into what I'm doing, less afraid of who/what "I" am or feeling at the moment.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
It was observing a moment while jogging, I couldn't determine at what point an actual decision was made to stop and get some water. That was when I felt a distinct shift from "I'm making things happen" to "Things happen and I, the mind, describe them or take ownership later".
5) Do you decide, intend, choose, control events in Life? Do you make anything happen? Give examples from your experience.
No, things just seem to happen. While walking with a friend last night I tried to explain this phenomena and as I was gesturing and talking, I noticed that again I didn't really 'choose' for the topic to come up. I wasn't selecting what kind of words to say. I wasn't choosing how to gesture my hands.
6) Anything to add?
Nope!
Big hugs Sarah xxx
Hugs! Thank you :)

If you understand, things are just as they are; if you do not understand, things are just as they are.
