One of our guides has come back with a further question for you -

Looking at the response to Q2 -

'The separate self seems to live in the body, if I were asked where I would say in my head because the eyes, nose, ears, mouth and brain are there. It seems to do things without being able to control its self at times'

Is there a separate self that lives in the body/head?

Does it 'do' anything?

How can it 'control itself or not'?

There is no separate self that lives in the body or head that I can find.
No separate self can be found doing anything.
Nor can it be found that there is a separate self controlling itself or not controlling itself.

2) Explain in detail what the illusion of a separate self is, and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.

Did I misunderstand the question? I thought I was to describe what the "illusion" of the separate self was. That is the "illusion" of a separate self that I was describing.

This is just a little bit more that wanted to be written.

A body was born, it had awareness, it had senses but it no identity. It was taught by repetition that it was a name and that it existed in relation to something else. A great deception took place. This expansive nothingness/everythingness was taught to be a small separate thing. It was taught to be human, taught that there was a word for everything it saw and felt. Words are a symbol they are not the thing. The "little human" was taught that there were consequences for its action and the illusion became more real. It was trained that it affected its life.

I have seen that there was no truth to the training. It was astonishing when I first saw that. I remember feeling total freedom and joy.
