I noticed only now that I slipped my real name there yesterday evening of mine. However, there was an intention to let you know something about Mag in real life after the process is over. During the process I was also wondering whether you could have an idea of my gender or age by anything that I had written. "I" used to be a very private person, but let's see if this is changing by the time with no self.
Anyways.... I'm a male, 32 years, live in Finland, in a city called Tampere. I became interested in meditation and spirituality in the spring of 2000, was more a meditator than reader for years, in 2008 found Paul Brunton's Notebooks series which made me a very dedicated seeker (and in a good or bad, built a strong seeker identity). 2009-2010 was reading Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj. 2010 I found a very sincere and down to earth spiritual group called "TAT foundation" from the US. Within the TAT, I was in touch with two teachers Bart Marshall and Art Ticknor. They advised me to start a self-inquiry group in my area which I did in November 2010. In our group we have been investigating our identities and beliefs by making questions to one participant at the time, and letting the person to look within. It looks like the universe has been very gentle all throughout my spiritual path, I have made some side steps every now and then while exploring the spiritual market place, but nothing that distracted me for too long. And all experiences were needed and useful to some degree.
Yes, I would like to join the group and feel the importance of conversing with others no-selfer's of different stages.I'll PM and see if you would like to join a facebook group for more discussion, sometimes it helps to know that the experience is shared, if it gets sticky again. Not many get the entire human component blown out immediately. Which seems gentle.
