Re: Standing in the light

Thanks, Jenny. :)

Feeling keys as typing happens. Seeing the screen and noticing as the words appear. Thoughts arise about how to express awareness. Listening to podcast. Feeling laptop in my lap. Resting in recliner.

Would you say this is it? Or would you say you still feel there is something more that you are going to
get or understand, other than what you wrote in this quote?

Hi Kento :D

I guess I can have no effect on it so it does me no good to think about it.

What about Awareness/Presence/Being? Is there anything spiritual here, or are things just happening?

Thanks for your patience,
Jenny

Hi again. :)

I guess I can have no effect on it so it does me no good to think about it.

If you are 100% honest, would you be totally satisfied with this "guessing"?
Are you living this understanding, or is it just a guess?

Does this mean that you are actually not thinking about it anymore?

Are you asking this to get an answer from me?
Sorry, but I don't get the intention of your asking this.

Warm regards,

I am living this now. I asked you about awareness with a capital A because I am curious what you would say. It was a question in response to your question whether I thought there was something more. I've been submerged in the teaching of be here now for many years. Now I understand that all I can do is be here now - typing, listening, seeing.

Thank you for your. patience,
Jenny

Hi Jenny. :)

Please show (by words) how you live that understanding.
Please recall what happened during the last couple of days, and tell whether you lived that.

This will show that you live your life with this knowing that you have no
effect whatsoever on reality.

And please be 100% honest (literally) when you answer; if you are saying that without
deceiving yourself, that would be the end of this conversation.

Now I understand that all I can do is be here now - typing, listening, seeing.

What about if you throw away that "understanding"?

Also, what is that "I" that does being here now?

Warm wishes,

Kento

Hi Kento :D

When I said I live this I was referring to the now. The last couple of days are hard to remember. I've been rereading the power of now by Eckhart Tolle. Doing laundry and other housework. Watching TV with my husband. Reading some Rumi. I"m not very active these days. I don't think I change reality. The only thing that changes is my perception.

"I" is just a habitual use of language. it's better to just say be here now. I see that understanding is a poor word to use.

I hope this answers your questions.
Thank you,
Jenny

Hi Jenny. :) I'm afraid you are not really answering my questions.

I asked whether you are totally satisfied with the understanding that you can't
change reality; that you are, actually, not trying to change reality at all now.

Could you answer that?

To be honest, I can't tell that you have seen through the illusion of separation
between this imaginary "self" and other things; my feeling is that you haven't; but
that is how I see, and if you say that you are really clear about it, that "I" is just a language, I would like
to ask questions to see a bit more of how clear that seeing would be. Hope I'm making sense.

Warm wishes,

Kento

Hi Kento,

Confusion happened. "I" know that I can't change reality and "I" am not trying to change reality.

Confusion happens because there was a thought that once the imaginary self was seen through that things would appear different. That thought has disappeared.

Thanks for your patience,
Jenny

Hi Jenny. :)

What about the illusion of separate self?
Are you crystal clear that it is an illusion? Please tell how you see the "self" now.

Also, please tell what has changed from when we started this conversation.
Do you feel a kind of shift happened during the course of our conversation? If so, when?
Could you pinpoint the page (and possibly the post)?

Regards,

Kento

Hi. :) How does it feel to know that? Do you feel any shift happening, or do you still
believe that you are still separate from everything else?
Right now I feel like I am opening up. Everything feels lighter. As this sinks in I imagine I will let go of more and more erroneous beliefs. I am grateful that I can see now that I'm not missing something. I always thought I was missing it, that thing that other people knew that I didn't know. I can start fresh now. When I get lost in the game I can always look and remind myself of what I have seen now. I can relax and enjoy instead of feeling ocd about things. I can stop searching so hard. That is a relief.
Thank you for being my guide through this and for all of your patience.
Love,
Jenny
ps I might write more later
Hi Kento,
This is around where I directly experienced no self

Jenny

Great, Jenny. :)

Would you like to proceed to the final questions asked at the end of
conversation? Anything left to be inquired into?

Warmly,

Kento
