I attended Vince’s group today and got a lot out of it. Thanks for recommending this route.

I joined Vince’s group yesterday and plan to join on Sunday too. I continue to do the exercise and reading some of Angelo’s book- the thoughts chapter right now.

I'm rooting for you, Jazzmina.

You're really doing the work. Now if you could just let go of thinking!

Hi, I attended Vince’s group today and it was really interesting. I’ve also found myself reading sections on his website as I’ve become increasingly curious attending his groups. I’m not working right now so I can also attend his Thursday group. Any pointers from you right now?

Aloha,

I attended Vince's group today and asked him about his experience as a guide. In the conversation, he suggested I could request a different guide to see if that might help me at this point. I've appreciated all the resources you have pointed me to and the exercises but I'm still not seeing that there is no self. In signing up for a guide and in reading The Gateless Gate book I thought guiding would be more of a written conversation back and forth in which seeing would at some point happen. Let me know. Thanks so much!

I agree Jazzy. I mostly give pointers, because conversation is too much thinking, but you're welcome to try someone else.

I can post asking who's free or you can read through some threads and see if there's someone who's style you like.

Let me know

Loving,

Thanks so much! Can you post to see who’s free?

Hi there,
I attended the Sunday group with Vince. He said I don’t need another guide but the place where I’m at is needing to question to whom do these thoughts occur to? Is there an entity that is thinking? That’s where I’m at so I’m working on that inquiry. Will continue to attend Vince’s group Thursday and Sunday.

Thanks,
Jazzmina

Conceptually I understand there is no self but I’m caught in the idea of Jazzmina being a person- that conditioning is still strong and present.

Those are just thoughts. They're not real.

Vince is probably right. This is about you not me.

Focus on direct experience. Are you still doing that exercise with the senses that I suggested you do every day?
