Hi. :)

Awareness is looking at the screen

Where are each of "who," "awareness," and "screen"?

How do you perceive "awareness" looking at something?
Could you tell in details?

Are you perceiving "awareness" "looking" and "something" at the same time?
Who is the one that is perceiving them?

Warm regards,

Kento

Hi Kento
Thank you for your patience

There is no "who" when awareness perceives sight it seems to happen near the eyes, the "screen" appears a short distance from the eyes

I've got ideas about how eyesight works. I can let it go but things still seem to appear at a distance

Awareness, looking, and something all happen at the same time
Awareness is perceiving them

Hi Jenny. :)

the "screen" appears a short distance from the eyes

Do you see either the "screen" or "eyes"?

Awareness is perceiving them

Could you find a more precise description of what you are talking about,
without using the word "awareness"?

Warm regards,

Kento

Hi Kento :D

I see the screen.

Another way to say that awareness is perceiving them would be:

them/it happens

Thank you for your time and patience,
Jenny

Hi Jenny. :)

I see the screen.

Is this a metaphor, or an actual screen? If the latter applies,
what's its shape, color, and texture?

them/it happens

Could you explain?

Thanks,

Kento

Sorry, wrong question about the screen; here's the new one:

What makes you tell the distance between eyes and the screen, when you can't actually
see where your eyes are?

An actual screen. It is rectangular, multiple colors, looks solid.

Could you explain?
[/quote]

Awareness perceives the instant it happens. Whatever is happening is happening in awareness.

Thank you,
Jenny

I think the reason I see distance is because of depth perception.

I think the reason I see distance is because of depth perception.

What is "depth perception"? Is it anything other than a theory or knowledge?

Awareness perceives the instant it happens could just be said that things are happening. Awareness encompasses everything so I guess it is unnecessary to say awareness. Whatever is, is. Things are happening.

Depth perception keeps this body from falling down the stairs. ?

I mean when I try I can make everything look flat but it takes effort.

Thank you for your patience,
Jenny

Can you see, hear, touch, taste, smell "depth perception?"

Hi

A way of explaining it without using the word awareness would be to say that things are happening right now.

I am tempted to say that I can see depth perception but that intimates that there is time between seeing and experiencing so no I cannot sense depth perception.

Thank you for your patience,
Jenny

Hi again!

things are happening right now

Yes, and that can be told intellectually; I'd like you to express, if any, something
that is based on the actual experience, not intellect. I'd like to see that
clearly expressed, not something that can be said in a very intellectual way.

I am tempted to say that I can see depth perception but that intimates that there is time between seeing and experiencing so no I cannot sense depth perception.

This seems to be all thinking's and no actual observation.
Could you say that again, based on the observation of what you call things that
are happening right now?

Warm regards,

Kento

Hi Kento :)

Feeling keys as typing happens. Seeing the screen and noticing as the words appear. Thoughts arise about how to express awareness. Listening to podcast. Feeling laptop in my lap. Resting in recliner.

Thanks,
Jenny
