Hi Jenny. :)
It was the nothingness that I felt to be me.
Could you tell what the direct experience of nothingness is? Can you experience
something that is not? How?
And awareness being prior to everything I experience like a blank slate.
Can you directly experience something prior to experience?
How?
Would it be possible that you are not aware you are taking mere concepts
as direct experience? That can happen if one is so immersed in a belief in something
that the belief has become another "reality" for that person, which happens to be a sheer illusion.
Please read through all that you wrote about "awareness," and see how much of them
are something that you haven't learned from what someone else said about "awareness."
Please doubt, and tell if you are 100% sure that all you are
talking about is something that is directly perceived (as your own experience, not
something someone else said) as either something
seen, heard, touched, smelled, or tasted.
My general feeling is that all you are talking about are someone's second-hand concepts, and
we wouldn't be able to go anywhere further if these concepts are held onto ; you have to be truly
wishing to discard all those concepts you have written so far about "awareness."
Please tell how you would feel if everything you know about "awareness" turned out
to be a mere intellectualization. Would it be possible to throw it away?
Warm regards,
Kento
