I would like some simple comment from you on a regular basis on the daily exercise of "finding where 'you' stop, and experience begins.
Only experience found.

Is it ok if I ask myself questions of the Introductory ebook to dig further?
What is the word ā€œIā€ pointing to? Is there a doer in the doing? Is there a thinker in thinking?
https://www.1ness.info/eq.htm
The word I points to nothing and everything.
I only find doing. No doer.
There appears the thought "I think", but I can not find a thinker. thinking is just happening apparently.
Is there a gap between the perceiver of thoughts thoughts and thinking or is there just one process that we call thinking?
https://www.1ness.info/eq.htm
There is the thought that there is a gap between thoughts and perceiving. There is the thought "I am the perceiver", which is just a thought without reality in it. Illuminating this thought as unreal the apparent gap between perceiver and thoughts collapse and only experiencing or perceiving remains without separation. letting this realization sink in.

Hi again,

Sorry again for the delay.
Let it sink in.
O.K. And while you are letting it sink in ask the question, "Did 'I' cause the reading of that material or was it life?"

If you had to point to a center, where would your finger point to?

Code: Select all

https://www.1ness.info/eq.htm
The center is the brain. All experience is perceived through the brain, all thinking and acting is made and controlled by the brain so this is the center. This is me, the brain is me, isn`t it?

Hi again,

Let it sink in.
No problem. The questions of the ebook work fine too.
O.K. And while you are letting it sink in ask the question, "Did 'I' cause the reading of that material or was it life?"
Reading happened. Deciding happened. No me involved, but the brain. Maybe I am the brain. The brain did all this. So the brain is me, isn`t it?

Hi again,

We are not looking to find the origin of identity here. We are looking for the origin of actions. Re-read my question on causation of "your" actions.

Isn't the cause of all actions the brain or certain brain activity, is it?
In direct experience there just was a random Impuls without an I involved. It sounds reasonable that the brain caused the Impuls.

Hi again,

And what caused the brain to do what it did? Was there some external stimulus from life?

The external stimulus was the liberation unleashed eBook which was the content of a thought.

Hi again,

Let's pause for a moment and see where we are. Go back to April 2 when I challenged you to bring me an example of "action" on "your" part. Read the dialog since then. You have yet to show me one example of "action". What you have brought me is a series of "reactions" caused by life's challenges in its various forms. Try harder. Bring me something "you" did. Show me that life isn't completely running the show.

So sitting in the sun is initiated by life because sun is life and the desire to feel warm and happy is also life?
Also playing computer games is initiated by life because Computer games are life and the need to feel excited and joyful is also life?

Nice insight but try again to find the origin. Look back in time. Look at prior conditioning. Keep it up. You're getting there.
The first conditioning might be "I am Sebastian" or "I am somebody".
Think we lost this threat below here.
The origin of "I as a separate being" is conditioning by parents and environment. It is also initiated by life.

Guess then there is nothing but life left. "I" is life, every action and non action is compelled by life.
I think I don't exist.
Feeling fear to not exist.

Hi again,

Feeling fear to not exist.

"Sebastian" never existed as anything other than thoughts. What you actually are-life-did quite well. After all, you're here. You won.

Keep looking. Bring me something "Sebastian" did of "his own free will." I want you to see clearly the futility of the fiction of "Sebastian in control."

Hi there, yes that's a crucial point I guess. So when "I" decide to take a walk in the forest, life already suggested the forest and the feeling of relaxation by walking in the forest is also provided by life you mean?

Or when I decide to lie in bed life already presented the bed and the feeling of relaxation caused by lying in bed?

So assuming that feelings and environment are part of life and Sebastian is not, then probably life is totally in control of Sebastian without having any choice.

But if "I" choose to look right or left, life did not do it, it was totally Sebastians choice, isn't it?

Look closely. Wasn't the looking left or right the REACTION to prove me wrong?
