It's as if by seeing it all very clearly this way, everything that happens ends up being seen as chain A.
When there is pressure and a natural waiting to see if/when chain B will arise, the turning away from the pressure, anything/everything that comes up that isn't a singular momentary event of turning away all gets lumped into being seen as chain A. And as a result, it no longer throws you off. It doesn't matter if there arises pressure and then counter pressure and then original pressure and then counter pressure. All of that is seen as chain A. Nothing has changed. Until/unless a singular momentary event of turning away from all of this occurs, everything would be seen as chain a.
And boy oh boy. Is it really damn liberating. Holy smokes. I just came out of an experience where there was a lot of lust to seek out what was always a vice in my life. Lots of pressure. Lots of counter pressure. But there was just a looking, a waiting to see if that singular momentary experience of turning away from all of that would take place.
Tldr... it never did. The pressure can't create that. It never can so to speak. There's just a waiting to see if it'll arise. The storm is happening, the storm is taking place. But now it is in the background. The foreground now becomes the waiting to see if the turning away will appear. So the storm isn't even as powerful of a storm as it always used to be. To say it isn't there would be ludicrous. It still is, it's just in the background now.
It isn't overwhelming. The storm doesn't contain the event of turning away from the storm. That is something separate. When it is seen this way, the storm doesn't even behold any power anymore.
Vince, this is amazing. I really hope people can get to 2nd path. First path was great. 2nd path is life changing. Obviously I like the idea of helping people get to first path. But 2nd path is just truly something else.
First path has real life implications. But even as amazing as those are, they peil in comparison to this. This is like a whole different experience.

The difference between first and second path is such that:
With first path, a storm is taking place. You are in your house. You see the hail destroying your car, your home, breaking all of your windows. Letting the rain come straight on inside your house.
With second path, you are at your house as well. You see the same storm, except it is in the distance. It is still dropping hail. Still downpouring rain. But it isn't destroying your house. It isn't destroying your car. The storm is still there, but it is in the distance.

And wow... holy fuck. Does sometimes it absolutely sucks so so much.
Pressure can be there, hitting so hard. And you are just waiting to see, wanting, hoping actually sometimes to see turning away happen. And it won't. And it sucks..
It's all still chain A. Sometimes there's so much helplessness and you are almost just begging for chain B to arise, the turning away. And it won't.
It's like seeing at this level is such a double edged sword. You see so clearly that everything rests on one thing and one thing only so to speak. Whether or not chain B arises. Whether or not turning away arises.
And you are waiting. Sometimes hoping it doesn't but waiting nonetheless. Other times like just 1 minute ago, there is almost a begging, a misery taking place. An angst. Almost pleading for it to arise. But it's like, because you know that that is what is required, and you are waiting on it, it never comes.
Like I said, sometimes chain A wants it to come. Other times chain A doesnt want it to come. It's like the only thing you can do is wait and see. But it sucks because you know the pressure doesn't contain it. The storm doesn't contain it. It's a standalone event.
What makes chain A want chain B to arise is when there is a general inclination towards wanting experience to go away. What makes chain A not want chain B to arise is when there is a general inclination towards being fine with how chain A is. But ultimately, chain A isn't the decision maker. Only whether or not chain B arises is. But when you see that as the 1 and only bridge to C, only 1 route possible, everything weighs on whether turning back arises. Nothing weighs on A anymore.
But chain B's arrival or non arrival can make chain A suck either even more or way less. But chain A no longer is seen as the inherent pusher. It never was.

The bridge never changes. The islands do. But does it matter? Island A is an Island just as much as Island B is an island. As is Island C, D, and E.
At some point, island A will bring up mental, emotional, and physical pressure insisting on moving towards island B. While that insisting occurs, sometimes it will also occur that mental, emotional, and physical pressure will arise insisting you actually stay on island A.
You will inherently be on island A until all eternity until there arises a very singular moment of turning away. If that occurs, then you are now crossing a bridge to island B.
But, the biggest BUT of them all: Anything and everything can possibly happen. Nothing is off the table. Experience can keep changing back and fourth, back and fourth, back and fourth for all of eternity. You are still on island A. It isn't until, and it is only until, and only if, turning away as a singular momentary event arises, that means that walking on the bridge toward island B is now occurring. If that does not happen, the turning away, then you are still on island A.
Have you seen turning away happen? If not, you are still on island A. It doesn't matter if island A is oscillating between extreme weather events. Tornadoes, sunshine, hurricanes, perfect weather, ice storm, cool brisk brease. Unless turning away occurs, you are still on island A. The bridge has not been crossed. Island B is not in your experience. Just maybe a tornado is all!
