I'm deliberately refraining from affirming or denying your answer,
in order not for you to try to answer in a way you think I will be satisfied.


That is, I feel, one of the biggest pitfalls for the inquirers here in this forum;
the guide becomes an authority that will teach you the "right" answer.
And no one is trying to make an authority. Funny, the inquiry sometimes takes
such form by itself. And in that case, that is the dead end of the inquiry (in a real sense).

So a task is given, the brain processes what is to be done (information). Then thought comes in and applies existing knowledge (more information). The brain (computer) processes it all, more thoughts arrive, an answer starts to be formed. Then the fingers respond to the thoughts which are formulating words and sentences. The language is already programmed so the fingers know where to go to type individual words. Theres a to-ing and fro-ing, constantly, thought being typed and reviewed, corrected, tweaked.

So movement may be involuntary - e.g. a muscle twitch.
We may move in our sleep, perhaps due to thought in a dream but generally unconsciously without thought (the body knows it wants to move or stretch or turn over)
So the typing is consciously directed.

I don't think I can type without thought. So the brain and nervous system moves the body but the movement itself is directed by thought. Over which there is no control. So its just happening automatically. No one is moving the fingers, but some-thing is directing thought and hence movement.

But it isn't separate.

So...if consciousness and spirit and universal energy are all words for the same thing...and everything observable is made up of universal energy ... then everything observable is spirit - therefore spirit is seen in everything observable and heard in everything audible etc

So back to what is moving the fingers - they are moving themselves?

I thoight I was trying logical deduction from what I knew to be the case....but I suppose it was theorising

Reality of what? Sorry I really don't know how to answer that.

Those things within my field of vision and within earshot, at the vibrational range my hearing can pick up.
At the moment, I can see things in my bedroom and hear the ticking of the clock in the spare room. And silence.

The same as is doing the typing, the same as the "I" referred to..."I" seem to be back to this infinite loop...?!

It must be consciousness but that's conjecture. But "I" really don't know what else it can be...universal energy....(another word for the same thing)

I don't perceive the energy, just the actions/direct experience arising from it. Sometimes I think I've felt it closing my hands together or seen it around my hands (purposefully looking) but it could be imagined, trick of the light
