Intended meaning of Question 4 was (What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?):
What was it that made you realize or see that "I" doesn't exist?
'I' would exist if there was ownership of body, thoughts, feelings and emotions.
I realized that body is a label for sensations of touch and movement, while feelings and emotions result from thoughts
which depends on conditionings, which in turn depend on previous conditionings, and so on, which are all again a thought story.
Seeing in another way, new born children don't have the sense of 'I'. This sense of 'I', along with other beliefs, (this is your nose, this is your hand, this is your toy etc) is installed by family. If this belief wasn't installed in childhood, there would be no sense of 'I'. Hence, 'I' is only a belief like every other beliefs.
Could you also post a example for Question 5?
I stumbled upon Liberation Unleashed, and that wasn't in anyway in my control, my decision or a free will.
Years ago, someone told me about a spiritual website. I followed the website. (I wouldn't have followed if I was not told about it). Then got deeper into spirituality and came across a fb friend who told me about some gurus (I wouldn't have come across this friend if I didn't follow spirituality), and eventually followed Eckhart Tolle, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Ramana Maharshi, Osho and Adyashanti among others (I wouldn't have followed these gurus had I not met that fb friend), which eventually led me to a facebook group (I would not have been a part of this group had I not been looking for liberation) where a fb friend suggested about teachers like Rupert Spira, Jeff Foster, Ram Tzu and others and started following them (which of course wouldn't have been possible without that friend). Then a friend suggested Liberation Unleashed, which led me to visit here (which wouldn't have been possible without the suggestion of that friend), but then wasn't able to know what I was supposed to do and gave up. Then a few months later, again, someone in a facebook group suggested about Liberation Unleashed, and I came here again, and this time I read the website carefully, and got to meet a guide and then you( which, again, wouldn't have been possible had I not visited the group).
So my ultimate journey to Liberation Unleashed depended on other people. And other people's suggestion to me depended on their own journey, and me following their suggestion depended , again, on my own journey and life experiences.
It cannot be said that I was in control of what I did, or that it was my own decision, or that it was a free will.
When you say "My anxiety in social situations hasn't disappeared, but I'm getting much better." who or what is anxious, who or what is getting much better?
The assumed owner of anxiety 'I' is anxious and is getting better.
