Yes I hear you
Re: I'm looking for a guide. Can anyone help?

Hi Lonni, vince here, taking over for StepVheN.
If we can both post at least once every day, that facilitates things.
As it's been a while since last post, tell what is your experiencing lately.
Also tell what are your expectations about how it will be after the 'gate'.

Hi Vince, I have been asking with everything that comes up in day to day life...where is the I in this, show the I in this. There is nothing that comes up. Nothing is seen or shown. I would start to say there is almost a void, but that would be something, there is no thing there. I have no expectations of how it will be after the "gate". I really think it will be just as it is now without the illusion of something controlling all of it.
Thanks for your time.

Hi Lonni,
Do you see controlling and deduce it is illusion ?
Do you experience controlling and think it is self doing it ?
How does controlling work ?
Do you see the illusion and recognise it as an illusion ?just as it is now without the illusion of something controlling all of it.

Re: I'm looking for a guide. Can anyone help?
Hi Vince,
No, I don't see the illusion because there is nothing to see. It's like the heat wave on the highway. It seems it is there when you are away from it but when you get to where it might have been there is nothing there. Does that make sense? I really see that it is a label for communication.
Do I see controlling and deduce it is illusion? No, I don't see any controlling going on. Things are just happening. Once again I don't see the illusion because there is nothing there to see.
Do I experience controlling and think it is self doing it? I truly am not experiencing any controlling. I see thoughts, actions, feelings happening and going on but when I ask to be shown the "I" in it there is nothing.
How does controlling work ? Controlling would work by there being "something" there saying do this or do that, "something" managing life.

Re: I'm looking for a guide. Can anyone help?
Good stuff Lonni.
Answer these questions please;
1) Is there a 'me', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works.
3) How does it feel to see this?
4) How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion.
5) What was the last bit that tipped you over, that triggered the 'seeing' ?

1. Is there a 'me', at all, anywhere, in any way shape or form? Was there ever?
There is nothing there at all. No I is anywhere in any way, shape or form . How could there have ever been any I any where, ever when it never existed to begin with.
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works.
The seperate self is the illusion that there is an entity that runs our lives. That it tells the mind what to do, what to think, and the heart what to feel and how to act. The illusion is that there is actually something or anything running the whole show...running and orchestrating life. The illusion begins when we learn that we have to be a certain way, do certain things. It begins when we are taught that we are certain things, certain behaviours, certain thoughts or feelings. Its just a label put on a container that holds what has been experienced by the body. It groups these experiences together for filing...classification.
3) How does it feel to see this?
It feels a little odd. Feels a bit dizzying.
4) How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion.
I honestly can't think of a way to describe it. How do you describe something that isn't there, that never existed, that never had a basis of anything to begin with?
5) What was the last bit that tipped you over, that triggered the 'seeing' ?
I remembered that at one time in meditation I was looking for the self in the body and realized there was nothing in the body but the body. There was no person inside there at all. Then I began to investigate that again looking for I.

Lonni, you seem through to me, though i need to get 3 others to confirm that you have passed through the gateless gate, then you will be invited to join a Facebook group where 'gatecrashers' support each other.
There are many new 'skills' to be considered as you are entering a whole new world now.
Anyway, lots of this kind of processing happens in Unleashed, so "friend" me on Facebook and i will invite you to join.(when confirmation occurs)

Here is another forum that is set up for newly liberated.

and a small doc worth reading here; http://liberationunleashed.com/PDF/Awakened.pdf
and a great video here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Biv_8xjj8E
