Hi Polet
Well done with your observations! I hope you are enjoying these investigations :)

Now, let's have a look for your self in all this.
Thoughts: an internal judge: "She will ruin everything", a monologue: "I'll go to the store, I need to buy bread", "I'll go to a concert today",
Where is 'I'?

As you look inside, try to pinpoint exactly where and what self is.

Is your self a thought, sensation or something else?

Then tell me about your experience

Thank you
Sid

Hi, Sid!
As you look inside, try to pinpoint exactly where and what self is.
"I" is like an annoying fly, it buzzes, bothers you until you get rid of it. :-)
Is your self a thought, sensation or something else?
Rather, it is a thought. There are no thoughts - no I: there is emptiness, silence, lightness or weightlessness. I am learning to plunge into weightlessness. I noticed that "in emptiness" the perception of the world increases: sounds are heard more clearly and, as it were, louder, breathing is barely noticeable, but the sense of smell is exacerbated, while the clamps leave the body, it ceases to bother.

With thanksful, Polet

Hi, Sid!
Have you got rid of it?
I can’t say 100% that I got rid of it. At the same time, there is a feeling that the people with whom I communicate become, as it were, a part of me, there is some kind of energy field in which we are united.
Where is the I right now?
"I" no, it dissolves, dissipates.

With thankful, Polet

Thanks Polet

Ok, let's try and get a handle of where we are now.

What is it that you hope to achieve by going through this guiding process at LU?

Hello, Sid!
What is it that you hope to achieve by going through this guiding process at LU?
With the help of a guide, I want to enter a different state of consciousness, a state of an expanded self, to go through the path of transformation. I want to achieve the moment Here and Now.

Thank you, Polet

Ok, I hear you, you are looking for a state and want to achieve the moment of now.

How would this look?
What do you think will be different?
What do you think needs to change in you?

Hi, Sid!

Thanks for your patience.
How would this look?
This is silence and serenity inside, accepting events, news, people without resistance, without struggle.
What do you think will be different?
Outside, nothing changes, life goes on.
What do you think needs to change in you?
The most difficult question for me :)
In the evening I went to bed with this question. The answer came in the morning!
My mind is too fond of logic and analyzing events, which means judging things, people, events.
This is what I need to work with.

Thank you for your reply Polet

Expectations on how things will turn out can distract us from seeing what is really there. I am here to help guide you so that you can see through the illusion of a separate self.

That is all.

Let's have another look using direct looking. Direct looking is seeing what is there right now without concepts and labels grouping things together. Any concept, judgement or description is a thought. Try to observe your thoughts as they come up. You don't have to get rid of anything, no work as such, just observe.

OK, for the questions below, take your time. Try not to fall for the first description that comes. Allow each question to find its place, the answers will come.
This is silence and serenity inside
Is this a dream? If so, who or what is having this dream? Where does this dream come from? Take a look right now.
Accepting events, news, people without resistance, without struggle.
Who or what is there to do the accepting or rejecting? Look at what is there right now.
My mind is too fond of logic and analyzing events
Who or what is watching/listening to this mind that is too fond of logic? Who or what is making this judgement of the mind? Look at what is there right now

Blessings
Sid

Hi, Sid!
Direct looking is seeing what is there right now without concepts and labels grouping things together.
Yesterday and today I was observing ... I was observing thoughts, emotions, people.
I observed as if from the outside, although I understand that I am also a participant in events, thoughts, emotions. At the same time, there were no expectations, and illusions.

The understanding came that life is not happening with my I, but with itself.
How else can this be explained in words ...
Who or what is watching/listening to this mind that is too fond of logic? Who or what is making this judgement of the mind?
There is no anybody. Everything just happens.

Thank you.

Hi Polet
I observed as if from the outside
Was this direct looking or is this imagined?

How can you tell the difference between a thought and an experience?
There is no anybody. Everything just happens.
Can you please tell me more about this insight

Was this direct looking or is this imagined?
Very often I find myself in the state of a spectator, as if I am inside the cinema that is happening around me, I think this is still a direct look.
How can you tell the difference between a thought and an experience?
The first thing that came - no difference, thought is part of the experience.
Can you please tell me more about this insight
Thoughts arise by themselves and pass in the same way. It is just an observation without judgment or expectation.

With thanks, Polet

Thank you for your answers Polet, let's keep going with this!
Very often I find myself in the state of a spectator, as if I am inside the cinema that is happening around me, I think this is still a direct look.
Turn your attention towards the spectator, what is this?

How can you tell the difference between a thought and an experience?
The first thing that came - no difference, thought is part of the experience.
Close your eyes and imagine drinking a glass of water. This is a thought.
Now, go and drink a glass of water. Is this the same, or different? Please describe.

Thoughts arise by themselves and pass in the same way. It is just an observation without judgment or expectation.
Keep looking at this, can you find any expectations or judgements about your thoughts?

Blessings

Hello, Sid!
Many thanks for your time you are giving me.
Turn your attention towards the spectator, what is this?
Everything appears and disappears, images that are “just knowledge” flow one after another. The spectator is "the knowledge". There is no one and no any thing that stands in the center or outside and observes everything around. There is no border between the “spectator” and events, everything flows of one to another.
Close your eyes and imagine drinking a glass of water. This is a thought.
Now, go and drink a glass of water. Is this the same, or different? Please describe.
Thought, smells, hearing, seeing, etc. - everything appears and disappears. These are still frames of the same picture of life. When I imagine that I am drinking water, I imagine the taste, the temperature of the water, the only thing is there is no tactile sensation. When I drink water there are tactile sensations, but this is also an illusion, emptiness. If we compare these events in Time, then this is a series of events in the line. If you remove Time, then there is no difference.
Keep looking at this, can you find any expectations or judgements about your thoughts?
When attention is directed at thoughts, thoughts dissolve, emptiness and silence appear. There are no expectations or judgments.

Hi Polet
Apologies for the delay.
I made a reply (or at least I thought I did) 2 days ago and I've been waiting on your reply. I just looked now and my post wasn't there.

So I'll try again
There is no border between the “spectator” and events, everything flows of one to another.
Please keep looking and describe what you see
When I drink water there are tactile sensations, but this is also an illusion, emptiness.
Why is this an illusion? What can you see? Please elaborate

If we compare these events in Time, then this is a series of events in the line. If you remove Time, then there is no difference.
How do you know this? Is this a thought? What can you actually see right now?

Thank you Polet
I will check the forum directly from now on so hopefully no more unnecessary delays

Blessings
Sid
