As in, when confronted with a fork in the road, the body will travel down one path rather than the other. No agent, or owner of the body, made this decision ... but the body nevertheless traveled down one ... which, in a way, is enacting a "choice". There is no chooser, but the choice--whether it be because of habit, a random thought that popped up, or several thoughts that deliberated pros & cons--still occurred. What do you mean with this affirmation "anything that the body does (choosing, etc)". Is the body choosing?
On the other hand (I'm about to disagree with what I just said above, haha ...), the word "choice" is a misnomer. Nothing is really being chosen, there is just life flowing onward. For example, a tiny atom of water in a wave can go in one of several directions when the wave breaks on shore. That atom of water goes in a specific direction (out of many) without really choosing to do so ... it just does so because of all of the interactions that preceded it (due it's velocity, etc at the point of impact).
Similar to the wave, the body is just moving onward ... seemingly choosing one thing over the other (due to habit, thought, etc) ... but, in fact, everything is governed by preceding events/interactions.How do you see choices happening? Give some examples from your experience.
For example, when 2 options (like blue shirt vs. purple shirt) were in front of "me" this morning, the entire universe's forward momentum directed the body's hand to reach for the purple shirt. Sure, thoughts played a role (seemingly "choosing", but not really), but even those thoughts were products of ~14 billion years worth of preceding events.
Similarly, when "I" will need to choose what to have for dinner tonight, the mind will inevitably run through a series of options but, ultimately, the body will end up tossing together and consuming a meal that was 14 billions years in the making.
(It's all completely circular, always. The awareness of all "this" [room, body, laptop, sensations, etc] itself emerges from the preconditions that allow the spark of awareness to occur. As such, this entire sensorium is one big loop. When it comes to choice, it's probably more accurate to say that the big loop is rolling down hill, to no destination in particular, and any path taken down this hill is a net result of all previous paths taken ... not really a "choice".)
