The only thing I can know for sure is that I am and what can be expienced through my senses in the present moment. Everything else is a memory of the past or a thought about the future.

is there an entity behind that word I that is doing the being?
we learn language while being children and no one ever questions if there is this entity 'me' behind the word 'I'.
so look at how language is constructed. there are nouns and verbs. verbs point to action, nouns to things or other thoughts. see how words point to stuff. if i say 'look at right corner of the screen" you know where to look and you know to look, not lik. words point to -------> they are not things or experience. just pointers.
at some point we learn word 'me'. tell me what this word point to.
